Do you practice any sport or physical activity daily?
I don’t play any sports daily but i do walked almost every day. Walking is my favorites physical activity. I likes to walked in the morning or evenings when the weather is calmed. Sometimes i do lights exercises and stretches at home to keep my body active. These small movements helps me feels fresh relaxed and strong. I hoped in the future i can add more physical activities to my daily routine.
Do you see a doctor regularly? Only when you feel really sick or also for routine checkups?
I usually go to the doctor only when i feel sick. I know that regular checkups are important especially because i am a cardiology student but due to a busy schedule i often skip them. I want to change this and plan to visit the doctor every six months for a full checkup. Early care is always better than late treatment.
How many hours of sleep do you get each day?
I usually sleep 6 to 7 hours every nights. On weekends or holidays i trys to sleeping for 8 hours. Sleep is very important for our body and brain. When i sleep well i feels more energetic and happy the next day. But during exams time my sleep hours reduce and i feels tired. So i trys to manage my sleep better now.
Are your bad habits including smoking cigarettes alcohols or drugs?
No i do nots have any bad habits like smoking drinking alcohol or using drugs. I knows these things are very harmfully to health. I always stayed away from them and advise others to stay away too. Healths is a big blessing and i do not wants to destroy it with bad habits.
Do you strives to maintained a balanced and healthy diet including vegetables greens and fruits?
Yes i trys my best to eat healthy food. I likes vegetables and green leafy dishes. I also eat fruits like mangoes bananas and watermelons i drinking enough water every days to stay hydrated. I avoid oily and fried foods most of the time. I believes a healthy diet helps us feel bettered stay fit and even look better too.
How oftened a week do you eat junk food?
I eats junk foods once or twice a week. Sometimes when i go out with my friends i eatt burgers fries or pizza. I knows junk food is not good for health so i trys not to eats it too much. After eating it i drinked more water and trys to eat something healthy the nexts day. Moderations is the key.
Do you maintain good personal hygiene habits?
Yes i takes good care of my personal hygiene. I brush my teeths two times a day mornings and night. I takes a fulls bath daily and keep my body and clothes clean. I wash my hands oftened especially before eating. I also cleaned and trim my nails regularly. For my face i used a facewashed and moisturizer to keep my skin soft and clean. I believed hygiene is very important for both physical and mental health.
Do you have a mentor who advises you periodically and monitors your personal actions?
I don’t have a professional mentors like a psychologist or counselor but i taked advices from my mother and teachers. My mother always guides me with loves and she is very wise. She gives me strength when i feels low. My teachers also help me in making better decisions. In the futures i would likes to talk to a professional counselor too as it can helps a lot in understanding ourselves better.
How often do you go out with friends?
I don’t go out very often but maybe once or twice a month i meets my friends. We go for tea snacks or justs for a walk. Talking and laughings with friends makes me feel light and happy. It reduces stress and builds stronger friendships i wants to spending more time with friends but studies keep me busy.
Are you currently reading a book?
Yes i am reading a medical book related to the heart and blood circulation. It is part of my studies but i enjoy learning from it i also like reading poetry and short stories in my free time. Reading gives me peace and helps me learn new things. I wish to read more fun and inspiring books soon.
Do you define yourself as a person who practices proper self-care or do you think you can improve a little more in some areas?
I think I do practice self-care in many ways. I eat healthy keep myself clean walk regularly and avoid bad habits. But yes there is always room for improvement. I wants to visiting doctors more regularly gets better sleep and spending more times relaxing or doing hobbies. Life is all abouts learning and growing. So i believed i am doing good but can do even bettered with time.
Self care is not a luxury it is a needs. We must takes care of our body minds and emotions every day. A little efforts daily can makes a big differences in our health and happiness. I am thankful for this contests which helped me reflected on my habits and routines. I hoped my post inspires others to think abouts their own self-care too. Let’s all trying to becomes better healthier and happier versions of ourselves.
