Supersticios@ me?.
Do you believe in superstitions?
Hello friends in the RECREATIVE STEEM community. It is a great pleasure to participate in this contest where I will discuss my views on superstition.
Do you believe in superstitions? If so, on a scale of 1 to 10, how superstitious are you? If you are not, explain why?
No, I don't believe in superstition. Going by a scale of 0 to 10, I will be reading a big 0. Superstition can only rest comfortably in the minds of those who are not inquisitive. Once you ask simple questions, looking for who and why, and need intelligent answers, then you are not a good breeding ground for superstition.
Why should anyone believe that the cry of a cat at night results in the death of a family member? I see no actual connection between the crying cat and the death of a relative. The wailing of a cat and the death of a person.
Do you think that if you are superstitious you can control the fate of fate
While fate is the belief that events are all predetermined, superstition tries to do or not do things to escape eventualities and attract positive outcomes. It is more confusing when a person who believes in predestination and also believes in superstition tries to use superstitious rites to avoid the doom that was already pre-assigned to come upon them.
If the doom was assigned by a higher power, it is not logical to believe that doing or not doing certain things can reverse the will of fate. These are two beliefs that should not coexist in the minds of more people.
What do you think of this superstition "Do not marry, embark, nor depart from your house?"
This is one I have not heard before. But it sounds like the continuation of a sentence or some idiom with a clear meaning in the past. In general, it sounds like a set of don'ts that don't work together. Guiding against doing anything on the wrong day.
This superstitious notion may likely have something to do with a person who is getting married on such a bad day like a Friday, and it would be worse if that Friday is corresponding with the 13th day of the month, making the wedding a double set of bad luck.
Do you think it's bad luck for the groom to see the bride before the wedding?
No, there is absolutely no bad luck in seeing your bride before the wedding. But if you have not seen your bride for some time before the wedding, it makes going for pictures because you will be happier and excited when you see them. Though the superstition is not true, it could do some good. There is no scientific backup for such a belief.
What other superstition do you know that you can share with us? Do you think it's true?
Breaking a mirror brings bad luck. This is because it was believed that the mirror holds the spirit of the people it reflects. Breaking the mirror is like breaking your spirit.
Walking under a ladder is considered very bad luck for whoever is walking under the ladder.
Knocking on wood or a tree for good luck is another superstition, and cutting your hair on a Wednesday or pointing at a tombstone.

Saludos apreciado amigo. Muy genuina tu participación y sobre todo muy sincera. Realmente cuando analizamos podemos darnos cuenta que la superstición es cuestión de creencias más que de lógica o razonamiento. Cómo siempre, te deseo éxitos!
