HOW TO COOK PORK GINILING (GINILING NA BABOY)

Another day, another recipe to introduce to you. I want to share to you my own version of making "Giniling na Baboy". This is so famous here in Philippines and I am sure you also have like this in your place.

Before I will start my procedure, I just want to say a little background and description of my recipe for today.

Pork Giniling (Giniling na Baboy) is said to be the classic Filipino dish made with ground pork (you can buy ground pork already or you can grind it yourself) sauteed with some spices. This viand is a budget-friendly yet the taste is good if it is prepared correctly. It is as well easy to cook and is perfect for any meal.

✨INGREDIENTS:✨

  • Ground Pork
  • Medium Onion, Chopped
  • Minced Garlic
  • Diced Potato
  • Diced Carrot
  • Green Peas (Optional)
  • Soy Sauce
  • Salt and Pepper to Taste
  • Cooking Oil
  • Red/Green Bell Pepper (0ptional)

✨PROCEDURE:✨

Step 1:

Put a little cooking oil in a hot pot and let it boil.

Step 2:

Saute the onion and garlic until you can smell its fragrance. Avoid overcooking the garlic.

Step 3:

I added green and red bell pepper. Stir it properly and simmer for a couple of minutes.

After everything, you can now put all the ground pork and cook it until no longer pink pork seen in the pot.

Season it with soy sauce, salt and pepper. Add potatoes and carrots. Simmer it until it will soften. Mix the green peas and cook for a few minutes.</sub.

And you can now serve your delicious and juicy PORK GINILING.
