Visiting My Mother-in-Law Vegetable Garden

One Friday afternoon, we were bored at home. We decided to visit my husband's mother, my mother in law. When we arrived at their house, she was not there. We looked for her in the vegetable garden, and there she was watering the plants in the afternoon.

It's been a long time we didn't visit her together with the whole family. She missed her granddaughters much but the children were not close to her, and didn't embrace her.

April season is very hot. It is not good to plant this month but if you are hard working in taking care plants, then they can survive. I was amazed on her big garden area, this was my childhood dream before. There are many small and big moringa plants. Moringa plant is a miracle plant that can cure many diseases. They are for sale in this garden and the neighborhood can buy in a very affordable and friendly price. These are some plants that I saw in the garden;

• Papaya tree
• Green lemon or calamansi
• Alugbati
• Cassava plant
• Sweet potato
• Okra
• Eggplant
• Ube
• Kangkong
• Sikwa

There are some nursery plants by area. Everything I see is green and I feel encourage to eat more healthy. My mother-in-law is already 62 years old but she is very healthy and can manually waters the plant everyday.

My daughter enjoys running on the garden's hallway. The sun was ready to hide and it's rays are on the vegetable leaves. I told my daughter be careful in walking and do not touch anything on the ground.

We were about to go when a customer came. Mother wants us to bring vegetables but I refused because we also have vegetables at home. Before we leave, we took some pictures together. My eldest daughter didn't include in pictorial since she was afraid of her grandmother.

We went home happy. As much as I want, my daughters need to be close to their grandmother but her place is very far from us. She cannot visit us because it's too far for her. We can seldom visit because public transportation is very hard in going home.
