The Diary game. “A Rainy Day of Chores, Haircuts, and Catching Up with Friends”

Greetings, dear friends, how are you all? I hope you all are fine and enjoying your day. I wish for you all good health, wealth and a prosperous time ahead. Today I am here to share with you yet another day of my life and I hope you all will get time to read and know about one more day of my life and also find it worthwhile to read and vote.

I got up early in the morning as I have a good habit of rising early and have recently been through the holy month of the Islamic calendar, Ramadan, which teaches us punctuality and helped me learn a completely different lifestyle. I have been quite strict with the way we should follow it, and for that reason, I again got up early in the morning at around 5 AM, purified myself by performing ablution, and went for the morning prayers in the nearby mosque. A good number of people could be seen in the mosque early in the morning because some families in my locality follow the same routine, which does not let others stay in bed for long during the day.

The weather has been overcast for the past few days, around two or three. No doubt, rain always becomes a spoiler, and the same was the case here. The rain didn’t let me go anywhere, and I was stuck at home, so I decided to do some household chores to help my mom, who is already very weak and cannot do much of the work.

Today, I started my day by doing some cleaning work in the interior of the house. I fetched the vacuum cleaner and then cleaned all the rooms, leaving nothing behind. It was quite a demanding job for me because a lot of dust had already accumulated on the carpets, and the transformation was quite satisfying as well. The dust was quite visible and conspicuous, and after its removal, everything looked new and clean.

Later in the afternoon, I went to cut my hair, as it had already grown long enough to irritate me, and because of that, styling was quite difficult due to the weakness of my hair. Sometimes, for that reason, I prefer to keep my hair short to avoid the effort of styling. Cutting hair is quite a time-consuming job, as the barber I go to takes his time and hardly compromises with his profession, working at his own pace regardless of the customer.

While I was getting my hair cut, it started to rain heavily, but only for a short duration. After I was done, I went outside to check the weather, and at that moment, the sky looked beautiful. I couldn’t take my eyes off it and took some photographs.

Later in the day, I returned home to take a bath and wash off the hair that had stuck to my ears and neck.

Very late in the day, I went to see my friends, who had called me to one of our friend’s shops where we usually meet. It has now become a regular gathering spot whenever we catch up. I had a good time with my friends, and very late in the day, I returned home.
