The Diary game. A Day Spent Spraying Pesticides in the Orchard Followed by an Evening of Teaching and Quiet Reading

Greetings, dear friends, how are you all? I hope you all are fine and enjoying your day. I wish for you all good health, wealth and a prosperous time ahead. Today I am here to share with you yet another day of my life and I hope you all will get time to read and know about one more day of my life and also find it worthwhile to read and vote.

I have a good habit of rising early, and that too before the morning prayers, and today I did the same. I purified myself by performing ablution before I went to the morning prayers in the nearby mosque. It was quite early in the morning when I woke up, as I had slept in my brother’s room, which lies on the side of the mosque, and the voice from the loudspeakers actually made me get up. I couldn’t stop myself from getting out of bed and straightaway went to perform ablution and then headed towards the mosque for the morning prayer to start my day with peace and prosperity. It’s the morning prayer that gives me peace and pleasure, and I hardly ever start a day by missing the morning prayers.

Later on, after finishing the prayers, I headed back to my place. Today, the weather was quite beautiful, and there were no chances of rain as such. To be fit and active throughout the day, I went for a walk all around the village, but unfortunately, I couldn’t complete the round and had to return home after walking about one and a half kilometers. Since we’ve just come out of the winter season, I couldn’t expose myself to such a strenuous walk early in the morning. So, to be on the safe side, I turned back home.

Today again, I had some important work at home, like spraying pesticides on the apple trees, and for that reason, I needed to stay home. I had to take permission from my boss, and after receiving his consent, I was quite relaxed to not go to the office and give my full time to the task of spraying pesticides in the orchard, to make sure that our crop grows well and our fruits are in good condition for export at the end of the year.

Along with spraying pesticides in the orchard, I also needed to fetch water from a nearby spring and accumulate it in one of the containers we had already placed in the orchard. It’s quite a tiring job because first, we need to carry the water, and then, while spraying the pesticide over the trees, we need to move around all corners of the orchard without leaving even a single inch unsprayed.

Being out in the orchard these days is quite a pleasure because of the vibes that naturally attract one towards the orchards, and the greenery all around brings a feeling of healing after every suffering. As we have been through hard times during the winter days, and now that spring has entered, this transition from grey to green is quite lively, motivating, and empowering. I enjoy spending my time in the orchard these days because the new year for farmers has started, and mostly, these days, most of the people in the village can be seen in the farms doing their farming.

It took me the whole day to spray pesticides in the orchard located on one side of the village, and some other areas are to be completed in the next few days. Later in the day, I returned home exhausted and tired, and just after getting fresh, I had some tea. Afterwards, I went to take a short nap to feel relaxed.

Very late at night, I taught my cousin a few concepts of mathematics, as she has just started learning some important chapters of the subject. It was around 9:30 PM when we had dinner, after which I went to my room to read a few chapters of Indian Polity before going to bed at 11:30 PM.
