Laziness is harming you
Assalamu Alaikum
How are you? By Allah's grace, I'm doing very well. Most people want to do a lot in life but they are lazy, they set their goals every day and set tasks for themselves every day and think that they will start working 100% sure from tomorrow. But as soon as they start working, they become lazy and put it off as tomorrow. They are distracted all day long and at the end of the day when they go to bed at night, sadness and regret grip them. Are you also stuck in such a daily cycle and you are not able to change yourself at all. So let's discuss how you can get out of this daily cycle and end it.
First, let me tell you that you are lazy not because you don't want to do the work, but because you are not ambitious. Let me explain that if you become Ambitious then you will never feel lazy, laziness will never come to your door. Imagine a boy who has no one in this world, so tell me will he ever be lazy? No he can't because he knows that if he feels lazy then he will not get food, that boy will naturally be Ambitious and he will not feel lazy. He will work hard to get the things he needs and in reality that is what is called Ambitious, the truth is that you are lazy because the goals and tasks you have set are not really interested in them. Because of your lack of interest you will never be able to achieve your goals, you consider your goals and tasks as difficult work.
You cannot focus on that task and that is why you feel guilty every day and every day you tell yourself that you will do it tomorrow. You are not getting any pleasure from your goal, due to which you are running away from your work, you are always distracted by running away. The real truth is that no one distracts you, rather you love to be distracted yourself because when you are distracted, you forget that you have some goals and dreams or that you have some work left that you were supposed to complete. Think about it, the last time you were distracted on social media, video games, did you feel bad? No, you were happy then, there were no thoughts in your head. Why? Because this distraction makes you forget everything and takes you to a different world and makes you unconscious. To come back from these, what you have to do is Meditation, that is, you have to keep your mind calm. If your mind is calm, your focus power will increase, if your focus power increases, there will be no distraction in your life.
