Overspending and Impulse Buying is one of the common money mistakes people make, it is very easy not to realize how much you are spending too. The first way to avoid overspending is through the creation of a monthly budget, on this budget, you can write out how much you have to spend on other things aside from your needs, I mean the extra money you can spare.
Having a separate account for your savings and the one you are about to spend. Then restricting how much access you have to the other account where you don't want to spend from can help too.
Also, carefully analyze what the reason behind the overspending is, and work on how best you can cut down those costs.
Sometimes you feel very excited, or maybe you just got your salary and may want to spoil yourself for a job well done all through the month, which is certainly a great idea, but maybe just making it an everytime thing could be detrimental to your finances. If you consistently spoil yourself every time you feel excited, you will be very surprised at how much you have spent on spoiling yourself at the end of the month.

Some people have a habit of picking up the latest phones whenever a new one comes up and financially speaking, it doesn't sound like a good idea especially when you are just trying to grow financially. There is nothing bad with keeping an old mobile device when it is still running perfectly.
Some subscriptions we pay for money in and out may not be necessary, if you. Ask yourself if you can do without some subscriptions, and then you can focus those funds on other things. There are some monthly subscriptions some of us make that we never get to use until the end of the month and we just keep renewing these subscriptions month in and out.
Spending all you make is a risky choice of investment, when you do that, it means you have nothing left to save or go into investment. Learning to save either in a little or large way is essential and spending all you make is a deadly and risky financial decision.
