That first week, Kunle applied all the strategies. Someone suggested a glue trap to him, so he bought it, but even with that, the mouse avoided it. Kunle tried every form, but the mouse kept avoiding it.

Frustrated on a particular day, Kunle sat in the chair thinking about how to kill the mouse.

"I am tired of this mouth. The next time I see this mouse in my house, I will just pack out of the house," Kunle was complaining to himself.

The mouse heard that from behind the usual house, where he always hides, and was happy and felt relaxed.

Until a particular day, Auntie bimbo came. She was his elder sister, and Aunty bimbo has this high energy. As she was cleaning the house one day, she saw the mouse running around in the house.

"Kunle, your house is under attack o" She said to Kunle that fateful day.

The next day, Aunty bimbo contacted her pastor to pray for the house because she was someone who believed everything was spiritual. The pastor prayed and even anointed the house.

The next day, the mouse came out of hiding, making it obvious for Kunle to see him again.

From that day, Kunle became friends with the mouse, and they lived together. And for the mouse, he lives a peaceful and happier life in Kunle's house.

There was a particular day he died after this cold harmattan weather condition. Kunle took his dead body from the kitchen and buried it.

Half of Kunle was happy that the mouse eventually died, but half of him also is definitely going to miss the presence of the mouse in his house.

Whenever Kunle narrate that story to his friend, he will always say. "I have lived with humans, I have lived alone, and I have also lived with a mouse that is the cleanest and most polite animal I have seen."
