How Much Exercise Is Too Much?

in Project HOPE3 days ago

Exercise is something that I believe have been emphasize over and over again that virtually we can't deal without it. But there is this popular saying that whatever have advantages have disadvantages. Not only that, I also come to learn that whatever we do in essence seems to have disadvantages also. That keeps me wondering whether that facts can be true or not. Thinking about it, I came across the word Exercise.

Every talk that centred around health, we always tell people that we need exercise as it helps us to achieve a whole lot of things in our body system. So much of advantages that exercise offer which is actually something so huge. But the big question is even though exercise is beneficial, does it mean that it can be harmful much more than the useful most especially when it is done in essence? I will talk about it today in my post.

Let me start by stating the benefits of exercise just as many of us know. Exercise have been proven over and over again to help increase our health state. It has helped to prevent heart disease, prevent stroke, prevent diabetes, prevent depression and many more. In fact there are some certain types of cancer that exercise helps to fight against but the big question is when the exercise becomes too much.

Exercise becomes too much when it's beginning to interfere in our body systems. According to the research I carried out, I discovered that there is something called the Overtraining Syndrome (OTS) as this is the syndrome that begins to manifest in our body system when the exercise is too much. This can leads to more injuries, making our muscles weak because of the lots of stress it was subjected to due to the excessive exercise and then can even leads to hormonal disruptions at the end of the day. In fact, when this syndrome is not quickly attended to, it can weaken our immune system.

Someone reading this post might be wondering? How will I know when exercise is too much? That is a very important question because the tolerance of exercise varies in body. There are lots of factors that determine how much of exercise your body can withstand. Your age can contribute, the nutrition you exposed yourself to can also contribute and even sometimes if you have a poor fitness level, it can reduce the tolerance of exercise for your body system. For some people battling with any medical issues or sickness, all of these things can also contribute to it.

Now let me create the balance, I am not saying you should not exercise at all as that is not even possible. For me personally, I believe you should do it moderately and also pay attention to your body system to know whether your body can still bear the threshold of exercise. Don't compare your body system to others because everyone have different body system. In some situations, I will also recommend that you should even meet a fitness professional that can help you to know which exercise you should engage into and which one you should not engage into. Did not just follow the trend. I discovered that there are some exercises you can not engage into if you are not exposed to some certain type of nutrition.
