The first rocket launched from Europe

There was the launch of what was going to be the first rocket launched from Europe by a European company, a German company that was going to reach space, it was the Spectrum from the Isar Aerospace company and it was launched today, April 30, these are the images, and a spoiler alert because it ended badly.

At first everything went well. The first seconds went well, at first it seems to go up slowly, slower than what seems normal in a rocket, but perhaps it is because of the perspective of having the mountain next to you and everything literally crashes and you hear the tremor, an explosion.

It would be good if it had gone well the first time, but this is normal, it is a new, first-time space company, it is a new technology that it is developing and the normal thing is that the first launch usually goes wrong, it happened to SpaceX, it happens to almost all space companies, it does not go as they thought. If you are thinking for example of the Spanish company, the Miura 1 that launched did not go exactly as they thought, because it did not reach space, it only reached halfway, although within what is possible, it came out much better than this rocket.

The important thing about the Spanish company will be the next rocket they are going to launch, which is the Miura 5, which has similar characteristics to this one and that it is going to be a rocket that would reach Earth orbit by sending satellites or loads into space. The important thing is that they are working on it and I am sure that they will learn from their mistakes and build a much better rocket that will be competitive. We need it.
