It all starts with a curiosity; “End of the World Project”

The trailer for a film by Ryan Gosling was already published 6 days ago, I like how this American actor acts, and the film in question is “Project End of the World”, and it will be released in March of next year, although the book was called Project Hail Mary. Why have they changed it to the End of the World project? I guess they don't want trouble with religion.

The novel, which is quite good, is called Project Ave Maria, it is by the author of the Martian writer Andy Wire and the point is that there are two stars that are protagonists in this space science fiction film, one of them is Tau Ceti, one of my favorites is a star from the constellation of Cetus in the whale, it is similar to the sun, both in mass and in spectral type and is 11.9 light years away.

Project End of the World is about that, it's about the end of the world, saving the world from a catastrophe, in this case cosmic, and in this film they do quite amazing things, which, although it is within this novel and this science fiction film, it is a real star and it really is at that distance, 11.9 light years and it really has planets. It is known that he has at least four. It is suspected that it has four more, one of them, which is suspected, may be the size of Jupiter.

The four that this star is known to have are larger than the Earth and the habitable zone would be that dark green zone that you see, one of the mysteries of this star because it has two quite big mysteries. Why isn't there a planet there in that hole that you see would be the habitable zone of the star, that is, the area where it would receive enough heat from its star to have pleasant temperatures to maintain liquid water on its surface, although this also varies a little depending on the type of atmosphere it has.

The second mystery is that this star is much older than the sun, in fact, twice as old as the sun. It is believed to be around 10 billion years old, which clashes somewhat with the third mystery, which is that it is known to have a large debris disk, similar to our Oort cloud or Kuiper belt, but colossal in size. In other words, it has a large disk of debris, comets, asteroids, etc.

If there were a habitable planet, it would have the problem of being hit by an asteroid or comet every so often. In fact, the debris disk is about 10 times larger than the debris and stardust surrounding this star than what the sun has, so the risk of impact with asteroids and comets is much greater, 10 times greater. Extinctions would have been 10 times more frequent.

This is a bit strange because it is a very old star, and this would mean that old stars have already cleared away asteroids and dust. The planets of those stars should have cleared away all that material long ago. It should have been cleared away over time and with the orbits of those planets. It is strange that there is so much dust and so much material. It means that at some point a planet was destroyed in this star and that is why there is so much dust. Despite being so old, 10,000 million years old.

It is possible that two planets collided and generated all that dust and debris.
