[Poem] Entranced
The fire crackles, a hypnotic song,
Orange flames dance, where they don't belong.
Mesmerized, I watch their flickering tale,
Lost in the glow, a captive in the vale.
Sparks fly in pirouettes, graceful and bright,
Embers like embers, holding on tight.
The warmth on my face, a comforting hand,
Lulling worries, to a distant sand.
Time seems to bend, then stretches and slows,
Only the fire's rhythm, the world truly knows.
Mesmerized, entranced, by this fiery art,
A universe burning, held close to my heart
