Sesame is a seasonal grain crop in India.It is also called benne.It is a flowering plants.It belongs to genus Sesamum.The scientific name of the plant is Sesamum indicum.The huge amount of cultivation of sesame occur in Africa and little amount in India.From this seed ,a nutritive oil has been extracted.I captured this photo 1 years ago.
