Achievement 1 introduction post by @mannatnawaz

Assalam o Alaikum to all Steemit members,

My name is Saima, and I am 36 years old. I live in Sargodha, Pakistan. I am a housewife and also a mother of two lovely children. I want to share my story with you in simple words.

I completed my education in Sargodha. I passed my Matric in 2001 from Govt. High School Johar Colony. Then I completed Intermediate in 2003 from Degree College for Women, Farooq Colony, Sargodha. I finished my Graduation in 2006. After that, I did MA Education in 2009 and MA Urdu in 2012 from Sargodha University.

After completing my studies, I started teaching in a school. But after my marriage, I left my job to take care of my children, especially my son. My husband’s name is Ahmad Nawaz. He is a farmer and a hardworking man. We live a simple and peaceful life together.

I have two children. My son’s name is Muhammad Maaz. He is 10 years old and he is autistic. He cannot speak, but he understands everything. He is very intelligent and kind. I try my best to take care of him and give him the food he needs.

He has difficulty chewing, so I usually give him soft food. But the doctor said he should try some hard food to make his jaw and mouth muscles stronger. It is not easy, but I always try for him.

My daughter’s name is Mannat Nawaz. She is 6 years old and studies in grade one. She is very intelligent and always gets first position in her class. Recently, her teacher told us that she cannot see the board clearly. We took her to the doctor, and now she wears glasses. It was a little shocking for us, but now she is doing well.

I love cooking and reading books. Cooking is my passion. I always try to make tasty food for my family. In my free time, I enjoy reading books, especially in Urdu. I don’t like rude behavior and I feel sad when people ignore or mistreat children with special needs.

I am new to Steemit. My friend’s cousin told me about this platform her I'd @hudamalik20 and she shared her experience here. When I listened to her, I became interested and wanted to join too. That’s how I came to know about Steemit.

I joined to share my life experiences, daily routine, my journey as a mother, and my cooking. I also want to read kind and helpful posts from other members. I hope to make good friends here and learn new things.
