Hello everyone I hope you are doing very well and are busy in enjoying your life .
Today ,I read about the 3rd achievement and I learn alot of new things. So now Im sharing my new knowledge about content etiquette and plagiarism.

what is plagiarism?

Definition:

Plagiarism is defined as the copy/paste like when you copy some one else content with giving him credit and without his/her permission is called plagiarism.

Explanation:

Now let us understand the plagiarism in more detail let suppose some one have been created a content with so much efforts, It may be a type of graphic design, Art, written blog, Pictures it may be videos also and then you use these materials in your own content also without giving him credit is known as plagiarism.
If a person want to use the same created content so he/she must take the permission from the content creator or give him credit . It may be a type of video, audio, text etc.

So let us understand the plagiarism with an example. Now let consider you are a video editor and you edit a video for your Tiktok account with so much efforts and hard work of day and night and after that you upload it but someone else use your video in their own content and then you feel very bad for it.
Therefore here is one thing of learning whenever someone use your content with your permission but did not give you credit it is also called plagiarism. So this is not allowed in any online platform therefore the creator have the rights to take action against him.

Types Of Plagiarism:

There are many types of plagiarism but i will explain eight(8) of them here .

1)Complete Plagiarism:

When you fully copy/paste someone else content and then post with your own name this type is called complete plagiarism.

2)Source Base Plagiarism:

Source plagiarism is defined when you copy someone content and then you give your own reference and the reference is wrong.

3)Self Plagiarism:

Let consider the self plagiarism with an example like for example you write your own unforgettable moment of your life but you post it in more than one community this type of plagiarism is known as self plagiarism so you are reusing your own content on many communities.

4)Paraphrase Plagiarism:

It is defined as when you copy other person content and do some changes, it means copying someone else idea and then modifying it for himself.

5)Mosaic Plagiarism:

It is defined as you use someone else content in your own content and you mixed it up.

6)Accidental Plagiarism:

when you are writting your own content but you accidentally you use same paragraph which is already used somewhere.

7)Direct Plagiarism:

it is known as directly copy someone else content like without any change you copy and paste it.

8) Inaccurate Authership:

It is a type of plagiarism is known as a copy paste. when you misled authurship about your content.

My own suggestion for avoiding plagiarism:

1.When you create your content then you need to take some help from online research so you should check your content with plagiarism tool it may help you to find out the copy/paste writting in your content. Many online tools are available for checking plagiarism.
2.Always keep that you should write your own words because your own words are unique then what you copy and paste because your brain is having power and you have the unique ideas.

What is citations:

Citations are the reference or source of information when you get the content. It is also called the reference of source.
