My Introductory Post

Self Intro:
I am Kalu Richard, a 19 year old 300 level engineering student at the Federal University of Technology Owerri. I am from Abia state, Nigeria. I'm a christian and the firstborn son in a family of 5 with two younger siblings a boy and a girl.

Educational and career path:
I'm an engineering student preparing for my second semester exams just before the pandemic halted us. I chose engineering merely for the fact that I love fixing things and found out that I was quite good at maths and physics. I chose this career as a way to help my family financially if I eventually get a good job.
Personally, I'm a skilled forex trader, an affiliate marketer and a seasoned orator. Basically, I'm a nerd who enjoys listening to good music, reading poems and writing a few short stories of my own.

Hobbies:
I love soccer, I love reading and watching movies. I play soccer, and a lot of video games most especially Call of Duty. I write mostly fiction especially adventure. I like music a lot, listening to music feels like an escape from reality, an escape from the depression and stress that I face. My favorite artists are Drake, Chris Brown. Nicki minaj, David, Burna Boy. I sometimes prefer being on my own listening to music and vibing to the flow of the beat.

Experience with Crypto:
I spent most of the lockdown period honing my skills in crypto trading and crypto exchange and I can say I am fairly good, though I have lost a lot of money to crypto and online scams.

How I got to know about steemit and why steemit:
A friend of mine @alphafx told me about it, and I was excited at the idea of making some extra cash from a legit platform. I was happy at the idea of making easy money by sharing my thoughts on crucial matters and topics.
