Hello everyone!
This me @economist2027 ..I hope you all are doing well. Today I am sharing my first progress report about what I have learned so far in my Steemit learning journey. Step by step I will write the summary of each class from Class 1 to Class 7.


Class 1 – Introduction to Steemit

In my first class on 15-08-2025, I learned about Steemit from the basics.

Steemit is a blockchain based blogging platform and also social media platform.

Users can earn STEEM and SBD, and Steem Power through a original posts, comments, and curation.

I understood the importance of following community rules and building a good reputation.

I also learned about the Steem Wallet:

STEEM (liquid token),

SBD (stable token),

Steem Power (influence on Steemit).

Powering Up is the best way to grow on this platform.

Class 2 – Writing Introduction Posts

In the second class, I learned how to write and publish an Introduction Post in the Newcomers Community.

I came to know about the Newcomers Achievement Program and its steps.

A proper introduction post should include personal details, hobbies, reason to join Steemit, and a verification picture with username and country.

I also learned how to join the Newcomers Community, make a post, and use tags like steemit, introduceyourself, and steemexclusive.


Class 3 – The Diary Game

This class was about one of the most popular activities on Steemit: The Diary Game.

I learned how to use headings to make posts neat.

I practiced creating a table to show daily activities.

I learned how to upload and align pictures (left, right, center).

I understood text justification to make paragraphs look professional.

At the end, I created a complete diary post with a title, introduction, table, pictures, and conclusion.

Class 4 – Steem Atlas

In the fourth class, I was introduced to Steem Atlas, a project where posts about real places are pinned on a global map.

I learned how to write proper titles and pin descriptions.

I practiced adding photos with captions.

I learned to include useful details like entry fees, timings, location link, and facilities.

I also practiced making a data block table at the end of the post.

Finally, I drafted my first Steem Atlas entry.

Class 5 – Correcting Mistakes in Steem Atlas

Here's class 5th link

This class focused on common mistakes and how to avoid them.

Always add the Google Maps link in Steem Atlas posts.

Never mix Diary Game with Steem Atlas in the same post.

Do not use WhatsApp screenshots or low-quality images.

Always pin the correct location on the map.

Set 10% beneficiary to @steem-atlas.

Every picture should have a caption/label.

I also learned how to check my Resource Credits (RC) to make sure I can post smoothly.


Class 6 – Speem.watch (Video Uploads)

In the sixth class, I learned about Speem.watch, a video-sharing platform.

I created an account and logged in.

I learned about three upload options: External Link, Direct Upload, Pro Editor.

I practiced the External Link option by sharing a YouTube video.

I also learned how to add a proper title, description, and tags before publishing.

Class 7 – Local Contests

In this class, I was introduced to contests on Steemit.

Contests help new users improve writing, practice creativity, and gain visibility.

I learned about the @disconnect account, which collects and shares all active contests in one place.

I also practiced how to join Recipe Contests:

Take good food pictures step by step.

Write ingredients and preparation clearly.

Follow contest rules, use proper tags, and publish in the right community.

From Class 1 to Class 7, I have learned:

The basics of Steemit and its wallet.

How to write introduction posts with verification.

How to create diary game posts with formatting.

How to write and improve Steem Atlas posts.

How to upload videos on Speem.watch.

How to participate in contests like recipe contests.

Step by step now I am improving and now I feel more confident about my posting and engaging on Steemit. Lastly I am very thankful to our Gorgeous teacher sir @hamzayousafzai in this successful journey.This is the progress I have made so far and I am excited to continue learning and also improvement.
