Introduction

Hello steemit house. I am so delighted to be here, a world full of talent and creativity. My name is Mrs Chidinma Nathaniel Effiong, a native of Owerre-Olubor, Ika North East Local Government Area of Delta State by birth and Ikot Udoe in Ikot Ekpene Local Government Area in Akwa Ibom State by marriage. I reside in Uyo. I turned 32 years old on the 18th of this month. I am hardworking, innovative, smart and godly.

I graduated from Delta State University Abraka with a second class upper division in English Language and Literary Studies.

I am from a family that was five( lost my first little brother) now four. I am the first in the family. I am married with two lovely children (a girl and a boy).

chiglamour2016: Why join steemit?

Well, being a teacher by profession, a baker and seamstress by vocation, I needed a platform beside my social media handle, to explore ideas and improve myself intellectually and innovatively.
Also, being a graduate currently without a stable job and income is like living without moving. It's so devastating when I find yourself solely dependent on my partner for everything. Although he provides so many things without complaining, I still deem it fit to help out in one way or the other as his 'help meet'.

How you came to know about steemit

I came to know about steemit through my friend, neighbour and customer. About a month or two ago, I saw her with some baking items. Being a baker, I love to mingle with those that bake. I asked her about what she wanted to bake. She told me it's a cake which she needed to bake on time before writing and posting. I became interested after knowing the fact that she gets paid for her post. This has been something I have always wanted to do but did not know how or who to guide me. She agreed and created time out of her busy schedule to mentor me. Thanks to my heavenly sent angel @okere-blessing

What I would like to do on steemit

I would like to focus on all that has to do baking, teaching, fashion and food/lifestyle.

I want to specially appreciate @ngoenyi for her tremendous assistance in getting started on steemit even with her busy schedule.
