Achievement 1: Verification Through Introduction "I am @bisdako, A Public School Teacher"
Hola! Muchas Gracias..

Hello there, I’m @bisdako from the Philippines. A passionate Math teacher with over 10 years of experience helping students navigate the fascinating and sometimes intimidating world of Mathematics. I'm glad you can have this path with me, no matter if you're just exploring out of curiosity. By the way, "bisdako" means "I am a bisaya, "the language we use in our place, Visayas, particularly in Cebu.

I love teaching. I've wanted this ever since I was a child. There’s something deeply fulfilling about watching students go from confusion to confidence, especially in a subject as misunderstood as Math. Also, behind those hard solutions in Math, I always treated my students as friends. Maybe those are some of the reasons, wherever I go, whenever I see them, they always share a warm smile with me and start a long chit-chat whenever there is a chance, and laugh with them. Those are just normal days with the kids. I'd always wanted them to remember me as a jolly teacher, aside from all the hassle and the puzzle of Mathematics.

I’m also a big believer in lifelong learning, and I see this platform as helping me explore and share the ever-evolving world, not just about numbers. Besides, as one of my major roles as their second parents, I am also giving them personal advice about life. I’m always on the lookout for better ways to engage learners and make life more meaningful.

About my family
I am married and blessed with two kids. My husband is managing our small business. I have two kids. One is named Math, who is running 10 in the year after. Yeah, you heard it right, his name is Math, surely you've guessed where I got his name? My eldest son is Mori, he is in grade 10 now. Both of them received honors awards for their year-end school achievements. I am blessed to have witnessed how they work hard to maintain their grades. As we all know, gadgets are now so tempting during class days. As a mother, I've been dreaming of their success in life and supporting them in every little dream that they dreamed of. Despite my busy schedule as a teacher, I always keep my balance between teaching and my family.
Outside of teaching, I enjoy reading and hiking. I often find connections between my hobbies and the logical, problem-solving nature of Math. Life itself is full of patterns, probabilities, and surprises—just like Mathematics.
I also call myself a frustrated writer who expresses anything about life, oops! I love cooking too. I love to explore recipes, just for home cooking, of course. Making unforgettable memories, like exploring new places with my family, is one of my greatest joys. I can also sing and play guitar. Maybe those are the stories I would like to share here on Steemit.
I've heard a lot about this platform through my friend @kyrie1234, I couldn't forget that one of her stories was about Typhoon Yolanda, how Steemit had helped those affected in our place. It was very inspiring since those who helped are not from our country. Donations were made through Steemit, coming from people whom we didn't know personally, yet with a big heart to help. I am hoping that Steemit will welcome me as much as they welcome my fellow Filipinos, and I hope that I can also invite my fellow teachers and my students to this platform.
Thank you for stopping by. Let’s navigate the twists and turns of life, discovering its many shades as we go.. Feel free to comment, ask questions, or share your own experiences—I’d love to hear from you!
Warmly,
@bisdako
Hello @animal-shelter , Thank you so much for reading my post and for your support. I am overwhelmed and inspired at the same time, excited to keep on posting. I am happy you supported my introduction post. You made me feel welcome in this community.

Hello miga, thank you for your help. Your 3 steem answers my problem why I can't do any activity. Now I started replying to comments and making a post...Thank you for being my coach as well.
Welcome to steemit
Thank you for your warm welcome.
Hi mam. Welcome to the platform.
Thank you ma'am. See you around.
It's nice to meet you here mam.
Hello sir, thank you for inviting me to the Steem SEA Newcomers program. It's a big help for Newcomers like me.
Hi, it's great to see you here.
There are more people from the phillioines you might like to meet. If you like to join comment contests please let me know. It's a great way to meet people.
Welcome to Steemit. Like you I am new.

𝗡𝗼 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗯𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗯𝗹𝗼𝗴𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗯𝗹𝘂𝗲𝘀!
@wakucat is Steemit's youngest witness. Will you vote for me and help Steemit be vibrant?
If you voted I thank you from the bottom of my heart.
♥️🍀
Thank you.
Tip: Try to connect a bit or you won't make it. If people welcome you "thank you" is the biggest killer and not seen as a valuable comment.
Thank you for your reminder. I will always keep this in mind. Guidance like this is a big help, especially for those who are just starting out. I am truly grateful to you.
It's good to hear you are motivated, we cannot say that about many. I wish you a lot of fun and welcome to the SEA project.
Welcome to "steemit", I love math, I wish you much success my lady.😃
Indeed, doing Math is a constant challenge to many, but understanding is worth the effort.
Welcome on board, @bisdako.

THANKS
I already received the delegation, thank you so much for the support. This time, I'm challenging myself on how I can fulfill the requirements and still come up with great content.
Getting involved in contest in one of the easiest way to get acquainted with other fellow Steemians, and contests surely give you idea to write contents with possibility to earn some STEEM. Check this one out: https://steemit.com/created/contest.
And don't forget, we demand at least 35 comments each week and at least 4 posts (in wich 2 of them to be sent through Steem SEA Community ( https://steemit.com/created/hive-103393 ).
The amount of the delegation might increase according to weekly evaluation on your activity. It's not big but we hope it helps. Thanks for joining the Programme.
Cc. @tonyoi23, thanks for spreading the words.
Yes, I will. Thank you so much for the guidance. The new ones need someone like you to guide us so we can survive on this platform. By the way with in regards of proper tagging what club I am going to use? also what is burnsteem tag?
The simplest way to explain how club is determined:
So it's not possible for you to have a Club at the moment as the account is not yet 1 month old, but if the contest requires Club100, you can use it (but I recommend confirming with the contest organiser first and explain your situation).
In terms of Club being used for tagging purposes in posts, I would say that club is not an important tag, so for the time being before you actually have a club (at least club5050 after the account reaches 1 month of age), I recommend not using the club tag.
The tag #burnsteem25 (not #burnsteem) is only used if you set a 25% of your post payout to @null as the beneficiary. See the image below foe example.
0.00 SBD,
18.42 STEEM,
18.42 SP
Thank you for this information because I am seeing post corrected for not using proper tag.
Not using proper tag may lead to tag-abuse. It's easy to understand: Don't use #animal if your post is not about animal.
You can put 8 tags in a post. Utilise these tags to describe your writing in an accurate way. Tags like club and burnsteem25 are not important tags, they can be placed after 5 other tags. Don't worry too much, you'll get the hang of it.
I am now drafting my next post for the whole day and focusing more on markdowns in order to make a presentable post. Thanks again.
The daily prompt provided by the Freewriters Community ( https://steemit.com/created/hive-161155 ) might help you find ideas, daily. And the Community also periodically holds writing contest. Meet the Mods: @wakeupkitty, @almaguer, @fajrularifst, @mariannewest.
And as the new Steemians, I suggest you put the link to your introduction post (achievement 1 - https://steemit.com/newcomers-community/@bisdako/achievement-1-verification-through-introduction-i-am-bisdako-a-public-school-teacher ) in the bottom part of your posts.
And bear in mind: some Communities might want you to make an intro post before you do any other posts in it. Some don't. My suggestion: If they don't ask you to do intro post, you might do it as part of your first post in it.
Make sure to read the rules in each Community before posting.
Thanks so much for the advice! I’ll definitely check the rules for each Community and include a short intro when it makes sense. Super helpful,I appreciate it!
@bisdako,
Hello and welcome to the steemit platform.
You have been fortunate to have two of the best mentors on the entire platform to welcome you and give you advice. Believe me they are the best among the best. Both @aneukpineung78, and @wakeupkitty are always helping everyone. They use art as their banner.
You can stop by freewriters to post. We will be supporting you. Don't give up. You will always meet wonderful people, with affinity about what you like and that, in this hurried twenty first century, is priceless. Tip: write comments, it will help you meet people, promote yourself and learn. Keep in mind the question: Why will others read what I write, if I don't read theirs?
Thank you so much for the warm welcome! 😊
I truly appreciate your kind words and encouragement. I'm excited to be part of the Steemit community and to learn from experienced and generous mentors like @aneukpineung78 and @wakeupkitty.
That tip really resonated with me—why should others read what I write if I don’t read theirs? It’s such a valuable reminder to stay connected and involved.
