Achievement 1: Verification Through Introduction

Hello Steemians, I'm thrilled to join this crypto world. My name is Oto-obong Okon Akpan, a citizen of Nigeria. My name might strange, but it means From God (our King). While Okon is derived front the word Okoneyo meaning Night, funny right? Our local name can be amusing at times. I'm 25 years old, but I'll have to convince many people that that's my age because I look far younger than that, it's nature. I'm short, light skin, and beautiful. I'm a citizen of Nigeria, and hail from Ibesikpo Asutan L.G.A, in Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria. My state is the the most peaceful and cleanest state in Nigeria, I'm proud of it.

I'm a student of University of Uyo, studying @educationchemistry as a course. It's requires so much research, time, energy and focus to get 'As' in the course. I'm currently at my finals...I spend so much time to get prepared for each exams, without this failure is unavoidable, as the saying goes, proper preparation prevents poor performance.

I come from a large family of eight, though lost my mom when I was just 15. It's the greatest tragedy that changed my entire life, it's affected my whole being, physically, emotional, socially and my faith, infact I lost myself.

I depreciated, became emotionless, cut off from the world. I became even more quiet and an introvert. Hardly would anyone hear my voice except greetings and if a question is asked, I didn't know how to come out from this state, I made books my companion that I can stay indoors and hours reading literatures and articles.

This got the best part of me and became my passion. Soon I had a diary, something I always heard and never thought would ever had, that was were I poured myself into, nothing else matters to me.

I love reading. This is my utmost passion, I can stay glued to a voluminous book for hours, until I finish it. I remember reading 12 lengthy literatures within a month, starting from the middle month to the end of it. It's my passion. Another is writing, I started writing at the age of 12.

When I crafted out some stories...but I thought I lost it until I was asked to write an article and a story for a contest...I saw myself pouring out my mind into it and was surprised at myself because I thought I lost this passion, it's still flowing through me. Another passion is music. I love singing and I love listening to music.

I have a beautiful voice, so light and sonorous... whenever I sing I hear people say "you sing like an angel", I also compose songs from the things happening around me, just for fun anyways. Cece Winnans is my favorite artiste, I cry whenever I listen to her songs, and I love her passion in music. I can play her songs until my battery is completely dead, that's how much I'm into it.

I love dancing too. Well...many don't know I can dance. This depends on the mood I have that moment, but I love watching people's dance steps. And I tend to imitate them. Funny enough, I love dancing when I'm indoor alone, when nobody watches me, I'll myself up and down, feeling myself...but when I'm out there, I become a stick. I know most people can relate this.

Lastly, I love cooking, as a matter of fact, I enjoy cooking. It's part of my skills. I can cook many dishes ranging from, Local dishes and intercontinental dishes and it never taste bad. I bake too, yes, and I'm so much into the baking world. Although, there are things I hate too. Noise, I hate it with all passion. Noise, screaming, anger, irritation, trouble, anything that will cause my peace, I just hate it. I can't stay in some environment, I might wake one day and disappear from it.

I joined Steemit because I want to improve my writing skills and want to stir up the passion which I thought I lost. I've been hearing of content writing and content creating, and that was how I came to know about Steemit from my friend, @bossj23, and I've seen his passion in it and got interested in it.

I'd love to create contents on food and diet, because I'll love to educate the world more about cooking, local dishes and intercontinental dishes.
