PLAGIARISM

Definition:

"It is a crime in which someone steals another person's work without giving any credits. That can include any type of graphics, writing ,animations and figures".
This should always be strongly opposed and evryone should take a stand against it as it is always considered stealing.

Types Of Plagiarism:

Direct copying plagiarism

When you copy someone's work and write everything in the same order and with the same manner as the other person has written. It may include data, spreadsheets ,codes, tables and research.

Reusing your own old words

While writing an article or some other writing copying one of your old writings and not including anything new.For writing purpose try to think of new ideas , take help from different browsers but don't go after copy paste.

Using graphics without permission

Misuse of someone else's work by stealing their graphics for your own achievement .For example a person creates some app with high quality graphics and the next person comes and steal those graphics for its own purpose without giving any credit to the owner is considered as a type of plagiarism.

Copying someone's spreadsheets and computer codes

People studing AI and coding often find a shortcut to success which includes stealing codes, these can be spreadsheets or tables or common data which counts as plagiarism.

Why plagiarism is a crime?

It is often considered as a big crime because while posting something or creating a writing of your own a person should let itself explore its inner and outer world, when one does this their imagination expands. This is hard task as one has to decide what's going to be suitable for their writing and what is not suitable. When they come to a conclusion, they start drafting their own masterpiece which is actually a work of art and is eye catching for others, if drafted beautifully. Now the point where it can be considered as a crime is when another person comes and starts stealing the ideas of that first person without giving any credits. This is a form of theft as this person did nothing on its own and directly started copying each and every word from that first person. This is a crime as the one who copies everything steals all the spotlight of the person who actually did all the effort in gathering the information which deserved this appreciation.

How can citations be helpful in avoiding plagiarism:

They can be helpful while writing any article or blog because they enable you to give credit to the owner by finding the right reference or by using the right source. It is a proper and respectable way to show your gratitude towards the owner, and you can post your blog or any writing with freedom without being accused of plagiarism
