Devil May Cry (Netflix): An action-packed ending, revelations, and promises for the future

Hell looms over the world, and only Dante, a hybrid of human and demon, can stop it. All this and much more is what Devil My Cry, the new Netflix anime, has left us.

Eight episodes, each lasting about half an hour. It's true that some are a little shorter, but in general, they last about half an hour. The series is produced by Mir, the same studio that brought us the Castlevania series. Ad Chancart is also in charge of the first two seasons of Netflix's Castlevania. The series also adapts the legendary Devil My Cry video game, although more than adapting the truth, it reinvents it somewhat, rewrites the events we know. It's true that many of them coincide, but it must also be recognized that many others change. We can't say that it's a faithful adaptation, far from it. However, the essence of what it shows us is more or less what was shown to us in the video games. Practically, what is adapted in this first season is Devil My Cry 3, although, as I said, with its changes and its own path, and in general, I must tell you that I quite liked the series. It's very good. It has a spectacular soundtrack. The animation works quite well. I thought that, in general terms, without being crazy, it's quite enjoyable.

Perhaps what I liked least is that, to give more importance to the character of Mary, the lady of video games, they have reduced the role of Dante, who is the main protagonist of this story. Although I imagine that since the series is set to develop several seasons, it will increasingly show us this character that we liked so much about video games. In the series, we are told the origin of this entire universe, just like video games, and in this, nothing has changed, since they tell us the story of Espa, this place, the lieutenant of Mundus, the king of demons, who decided to side with humans when the world of the.

⚔️ Season Finale

In the final episode, Dante faces the White Rabbit, a demon seeking to destroy the barrier between the human world and the Underworld. During the fight, Dante enters his Devil Trigger form, unleashing his full demonic power. With the help of Lady, who uses her last demonic bullet to weaken the enemy, they manage to stop the immediate threat.

However, the victory is bittersweet. Dante discovers that his twin brother, Vergil, is alive and has been operating in the shadows. Vergil, who has embraced his demonic heritage, seems ready to start a war against humanity.

Well, sir, this is my last post. I don't think it's normal that you keep getting votes, and I only get one from you and occasionally from Xendal. I appreciate it very much, but I won't continue because I see this as a waste of time. Good luck.
