Jute is a cash crop in our country. And by cultivating jute, the people of Bangladesh achieve foreign standards. That is why jute is called the golden fiber. And today we will know how to make money by cultivating jute. Let's start without delay.

• In the first stage, jute seedlings are very weak. Necessary measures have to be taken so that the seedlings can grow well. Weeds should be removed by hoeing in the jute field.

• Leave the required trees and uproot the remaining trees with a hoe. This reduces the cost of weed control to a great extent.

• During hoeing and sorting, diseased trees should be removed so that the remaining jute plants grow very quickly.

• Care should be taken to ensure that there is sufficient moisture in the soil during the second stage of fertilizer application and that the fertilizer does not get on the young leaves and tips of the plant.

• Control insects

Flying insects:

In all the lands where flying insects of jute or other crops appear almost every year, before sowing jute seeds, cultivate the land well for the last time and apply insecticide 20 EC 5 ml per liter of water to each acre of jute land. Then the seeds should be sown as per the rules.

• Scale insects:

They attack jute seedlings from mid-April and persist until harvest.

• Dead, dry tips can be identified from a distance. Later, branches grow from that support.

• Keeping the jute fields clean of wild okra trees and other weeds reduces the infestation of this insect.

Yellowish green leaves or chlorosis.

This disease is spread by a type of virus. The disease is spread through the seeds of infected plants, with the help of pollen from infected plants, and by white flies. The disease spreads more due to sowing seeds of infected plants. Yellow-green marks are seen on the leaves of the plants when the seedlings are helpless. If the diseased plants are removed at this time, the disease cannot spread. To kill white flies, 15 ml of diazinon should be mixed in 10 liters of water and sprayed 2-3 times after 7 days on 30-40-day-old plants. This reduces the prevalence of the disease to a great extent.
