It´s not YouTube, it´s not Facebook, it´s not Instagram. It´s not even Soundcloud, Bandcamp or other Platforms. The only thing, that really counts is the number and the “quality” of people, who visit your website. “Quality” measured in responses (email etc.), which you get from your fans, members, visitors or whatever you´d like to call them.
