There are many Indian movies which I have seen but these underrated although their story and performance was awesome and even someone couldn't expect why they couldn't get their best position.

Few of these are as follows:

  • Khosla Ka Ghosla
  • A Wednesday
  • Masaan
  • Titli
  • Ankhon Dekhi

These are Indian movies which h I have watch and you know there story and theme was entirely different from other traditional movies moreover I mostly loved Indian movies rather to be Pakistani.

Discuss your reasons for saying these movies you have mentioned are lesser known or underrated movies.

Khosla Ka Ghosla release in 2006 it was interesting film because it was based on comedy and belonging to middle class family which had strong fighting for getting their lands, it got attention because it depicted the real life, but it never he blockbuster because it try to cover the small scale life struggles rather on broader.

The other movieA Wednesday release on 2008 it was on unique topic of terrorism and and also for social injustice. The reason of failure due to it doesn't have big star in the movie less commercial that's why
couldn't attract much numbers of audience.

The Masaan released in 2015 it's theme was outstanding because it was on social injustice, love and grief. The reason of underrated was the structure of movie was not appropriate hence lacking the pace and also based on lives of common persons.

In 2014 the Titli came with theme of darker side of family dynamics and also internal facts of the society, violence etc. The topic couldn't attract the audience as the theme was much disturbed despite of its powerful storyline.

In 2014 Ankhon Dehki highly good theme if self power belief and how we can discover ourselves. Although overall it was unconventional style of expression and couldn't get much ratings nor attraction.

What do you think can be done to make these movies better known or valued more.

  • Hence the success of any movies based on story characters and approaches of better marketing. This is one of the best ways to get more viewers.

  • The more audience can get through cinema film festival and platforms of streaming can be helpful for promotion of such unique movies.

  • The buzz for films are highly useful such as online engagement and discussion on the biggest platform obviously becomes the source of better publicity of the movie.

  • The introduction of cultural discussion through integration is another powerful source for more stronger audiences.

It's all about my today's post.

I would like to invite my friends @m-fdo, @jannat12 and @goodybest to take part in this interesting challenge.

You’ve mentioned some really powerful Indian films! I’ve seen A Wednesday and Masaan, and I agree, their stories are so deep and different from typical commercial movies. It’s surprising how such meaningful films didn’t get the recognition they deserve. Thank you for reminding us that cinema isn’t just about big stars but about truth, emotion, and reflection.
