Hoy les traigo una nueva historia y de que mas si de mi hermosa Venezuela. El dia de hoy les contare como fue mi primera procesión de la "Divina Pastora" la patrona del estado Lara, quien no conoce de ella la procesion de la Divina Pastora es una de las procesiones mas grandes y que va mas gente en el mundo cada 14 de enero se celebra una multitudinaria procesión en la que esta imagen es llevada desde Santa Rosa hasta la capital del estado Lara un recorrido de 5km en las que miles de personas se reunen a acompañar esta gran icono religioso.
Mi primera procesión fue este año 2018 a pesar de vivir en Venezuela no habia tenido la oportunidad de vivir este evento en carne propia , y la verdad es que quede asombrado como tanta gente que no solo es de venezuela sino del mundo quiere hacer esta ceremonia. Unos amigos y yo tuvimos la oportunidad de alquilar un bus para ir junto a nuestros familiares y amigos , como practicamente para esa fecha es casi imposible entrar a Barquisimeto el autobus nos dejo un poco mas lejos del comienzo de la procesión sin embargo el viaje y la caminata se paso entre risas y relatos de los nativos de zona.

Today I bring you a new story and what else if my beautiful Venezuela. Today I will tell you how was my first procession of the "Divina Pastora" the patron of the state Lara, who does not know of her the procession of the Divina Pastora is one of the largest processions and that more people in the world every January 14 there is a massive procession in which this image is taken from Santa Rosa to the capital of Lara state, a 5km journey in which thousands of people gather to accompany this great religious icon.
My first procession was this year 2018 despite living in Venezuela I had not had the opportunity to experience this event in my own flesh, and the truth is that I was amazed as so many people who are not only from Venezuela but the world wants to do this ceremony . Some friends and I had the opportunity to rent a bus to go with our family and friends, as practically for that date it is almost impossible to enter Barquisimeto the bus left us a little further from the start of the procession, however the trip and the Walk was spent between laughter and stories of the natives of the area.
Cuando tu vas haciendo la caminata te puedes topar con personas que ayudan dando frutas , aguas y muchas mas cosas para que si un momento te sientes debil por el sol ellos puedan auxiliarte tambien puedes ver distintos grupos de musica , varios famosos entre muchas cosas mas.
Una de las cosas que mas llama la atención de todo el evento es las personas que hacen la procesión de una manera peculiar ya que algunos lo hacen descalzos y otros de rodillas para ellos este es un acto al cual llaman "Pagar Promesas" a la Divina Pastora que de una manera ella ilumino sus camino para algo que ellos querian lograr.
When you are doing the walk you can come across people who help giving fruits, water and many more things so that if you feel weak for a moment because of the sun they can help you also you can see different music groups, several famous among many things more.
One of the things that most attracts the attention of the whole event is the people who make the procession in a peculiar way since some do it barefoot and others on their knees for them this is an act they call * "Pay Promises" * a the Divine Shepherdess that in a way she illuminated her way for something they wanted to achieve.
Al concluir la travesia magnifica acordamos ir a visitar el "Manto de María" , un monumento de 62 metros de altura algo de verdad impresionante y hermoso que a lo personal es una de las maravillas que tiene mi pais , alli pudimos descansar un poco , tomar fotos de recuerdo y diciendo que que teniamos que venir el año entrante.
At the end of the magnificent journey we decided to visit the * "Mantle of Mary" *, a monument of 62 meters high something really impressive and beautiful that is one of the wonders of my country, there we could rest a little , take souvenir photos and saying that we had to come next year.

Interesante post!. No he tenido la oportunidad de ir a ese sitio pero se que las procesiones de la Virgen de La Divina Pastora son multitudinarias. Hermosa escultura del manto de María! Tengo curiosidad por saber más acerca de ese monumento!
La verdad que si llegas a tener la oportunidad de ir jamas te vas a arrepentir es algo magico ver esa procesión y ser parte de ella , el manto de maria tambien y si subes por el elevador que hay ahí veras todo.
