We still have summer but despite of that the weather can make surprises, like this morning when we woke up the news reported the weather working more in Northern England and Scotland due to wind and rain it was Amber warning. That means often trains in some areas will be cancelled, there is always a danger of tree falls. I had a sign of relief that today I do not need to travel anywhere.

When looking through the news there are many photos showing strong winds and also strong old trees fall over, sometime son cars or on houses. It was a time when we had a tall tree next to our house but that we have removed more than 10 years ago just because it was really very tall and even when buses were passing by on our street then the branches sometimes were broken by the buses.

I believe, wind makes it noticeable for both people on ground and also people and ships on water. I can imagine that many fishermen now cancelled their work because you can do anything. The only hope that the ships will remain in one piece.

Also while reading through the news I noticed that one of the domestic plane that was departing from London airport to Northern town in Highland while almost approaching it needed to turn back and return to the same airport. Poor people who were on board, they probably were happy that finally were almost there but when it was announced that they fly back it must have been a bad feeling of just wasted time and returning tot eh same place.

Now the weather is getting better and it is definitely much calmer, I hope that it is all for now and we will have our summer back again.
