Hello my dear Steemians,

 

Today I wanted to write my thoughts for this interesting contest running by @vishwaraif you want to learn more here is the link:

Tell us at what time you usually start craving a late-night bite. Is it a sweet craving or a savory craving, or does it depend on your mood?

 

It depends on the evening and if I am tired and sleepy then of course, I do not have any snacks but if I am still awake and also in some cases when I have my friends we then decide to have long TV evening and also we stay awake and take some snacks. For late evening I have couple of options:

  • ice-cream, I love it and also it is sweet and rich in calories so once we have ice-cream we do not need any more snacks

  • other alternative is salty: crisps or nuts, they are very good with coke, once again it rich in calories

Once we plan such late evening I usually do not eat much during the day.

 

Do you try to give in or try to resist your craving? What is your immediate thought?

 

I know that evenings especially long ones I can not resist that is why I prepare in advance and do not eat much so that I can have some snacks later. That is why it is just the matter of planning opur snack time and we do not need to resist.

 

Do you prefer making homemade healthy food or trying an instant snack?

 

I prefer snacks from supermarkets rather than homemade snacks. There are many ready stuff variety that is why it is easy to buy them. In my case we do not eat often snacks and when we plan then simple buy in shop.

 

Share your favorite late-night food craving recipe. Share the preparation time with us.

 

As I mentioned to you that I do not prepare myself snacks therefore there is nothing here that I can add. The snack I usually buy in supermarket: some potato crisps, roasted and salted peanuts, some salty sticks.

Do you think having a late-night craving is healthy? How often do you get midnight cravings?

 

Generally speaking it is not healthy to have later evening snacks, especially if a person does it regular, therefore it should not become a habit. On other hand we know that we need something for our soul and when we have friends then such snacks taste even better. I usually have such evenings twice a month.
