The Diary Game | ♥ Another Day in My Life ♥

It's another day in my life. I woke up at 5:30 am as usual. I'm used to waking up early by now, and it's as if I don't need an alarm anymore. I remember my mom; she never needed to wake up for the alarm because she was already awake on time. I believe that's how moms are, their responsibilities wake them up.

It wasn't dark anymore; dawn was beautiful with the soft chirping of birds. I enjoyed the fresh morning air while sipping a cup of warm water. I feel the time flies in the morning. I prepared Vihan's food for his tiffin and started getting ready. Usually, Vihan wakes at around 7.00 am. I fed him his milk and got him ready too.

Since my husband is not at home, I had to book an Uber to drop Vihan at school. Finding Uber in the morning is such a stressful task, It really motivates me to get my driving license soon!

After dropping Vihan off at school, I went to my usual spot to spend time until it was time to pick him up again. On the way, I went to Keells to get some essentials. I enjoy going to supermarkets early in the morning because everything is freshly organized.

Before I knew it, it was noon. It was time to pick up Vihan from school. I waited near the school, and Vihan was already in the queue to go home. I spoke to his class teacher and collected the homework. Then I booked an Uber to return home.

Later In the evening, when I scrolled through my Facebook wall there was a post showing a flash sale at Pizza Hut which was 50% off on any item! It was too good to miss, especially since we love pizza. After having a short nap, we decided to go. My dad was busy with some work, so it was just my mom, Vihan, and me. I did miss going out with my husband.

We ordered our pizza and enjoyed our meal, and we also made sure to bring one home for Dad. The pizza we ordered was delicious and both Vihan and my mom loved it. It was worth spending time together.

Later in the evening, we returned home safely. After taking a shower. I started helping Vihan with his homework. Then we read a book together until he fell asleep.

After tucking him into bed, I too went to bed, feeling grateful and content for the beautiful day I had with my family.
