Topic 1: Can a marriage be successful without love, even if both partners are compatible with each other and have a good understanding between them?

The kind of incident you have shown in your competition post, there must have been a lack of communication and trust in the couple, otherwise despite having such a good understanding, they ended their lives and also spread a wrong message to the entire society. Many disputes are resolved by mutual communication, but the condition is that both the parties should understand each other's feelings with understanding and patience.

In earlier times, most marriages were arranged marriages, and in such marriages, love blossomed between the couple only after marriage, and this love blossoming through a slow process was guaranteed to last for a long time. In today's times, most of the youth believe in fiery love, but their end is also fiery.

This topic is relevant to today's circumstances, I feel that in the present circumstances love marriages have become very common, but today when I look at our society, most of these love marriages are failing. Actually, love in youth is nothing but an attraction, which fades with time. I have seen in many love affairs that when love was at its peak, both were happy, but as soon as there is a slight decrease in love or due to the clash of ego of one of the two, it does not take long for the love to break. And such conflicts take a very serious form. In which domestic violence, abuse, and even police and court matters are taken.

Actually real love is not a pretence, it includes dedication, feelings and emotions, I have seen many couples who spend years together without even showing their love. In this kind of love, respect for each other, trust and dedication, satisfaction, attachment, understanding and the power to bear the other's good and bad habits are very important.

Ups and downs in any marital relationship is a natural process, but maintaining your relationship strongly amidst all this is true love, by staying together for a long time, any woman or man can understand all the good and bad habits of their life partner and keep on bearing them, this is called love.

There are many good and bad moments in life in which our loyalty and patience start wavering. We feel that we will not be able to overcome them. But a determined couple fights all such situations and passes through that bad time with each other's support and help. This is true love.

It is not necessary that we show false love to our partner only then he/she will feel that we love him/her. Love is a feeling. True love is that in which we get security and trust. I have been married for more than 45 years. Ours was an arranged marriage. At the age of marriage, both of us were very young. Why would we not have had opportunities for fights and love? There were many occasions when we had small fights, but we overcame them and kept moving ahead in our lives. And today we are living in a happy family with our children and grandchildren. And we are also an ideal couple for our son.

That is why in the end I just want to say that any marriage can be completely successful on the foundation of trust, dedication, harmony, loyalty, attachment, without any pretense of love.
