I have watched you grown
So slender,
Yet tender.

I have watched you grown
A gentle soul, that flickered pure
Now tempered by reality unyielding allure.

I have watched you grown
To handle pain,
And turn it into a gain.

I have watched you grown
To rise above the strain,
And learn to sustain.

I have watched you grown
Like tortoise whose shell has slowed down it's pace,
Yet puts up a quokka's smile.
A work of art,
That touches the heart.

I have watched you grown,
With a smile, a gift, a treasure rare
A reminder to smile, without a care.

I have watched you grown
Even in fears,
Even in tears
You find ways to grow,
You find strength in every show,
You still find your glow.

I have watched you grown
Then I realized…
The silence didn't just happen
It was a choice you had to earn
It was a choice where wisdom would burn,
And where thoughts would churn.

In the silence where…
A story would unfold,
Strength will take hold,
And wisdom would be told.

In the beauty of the space,
Where there is an inner pace
To discover the quiet grace.
