"Nighttime Craving By Onlyonefave"
Greetings to all steemians, i hope we all had a wonderful weekend. I'm happy for this contest by @vishwara. I'll be sharing my nighttime cravings.

Nighttime cravings are things you feel like eating at night. Most of us just like keeping our mouths busy, especially when we're working or staying awake for one reason or the other.
What time does your craving start? Is it savory or Sweet? |

My cravings usually start around 11pm because that's when I wake up to work. Eating keeps me awake and alert to do what I'm supposed to do. Especially when I'm the only person awake. I usually crave for fries(fries yam, potato or plantain) i like pairing it with Smoov; my favorite drink. I think fries is in-between savory and sweet, the taste is heavenly.

If i have the strength at that time, I'm definitely satisfying the craving. But if I'm too lazy or tired to start frying anything, I'll just take instant snacks like biscuits and the Smoov drink.
Do you prefer making homemade healthy food or trying an instant snack? |

I prefer homemade healthy food because it is more nutritious and has less calories. But at the end of the day, my decision depends on my level of energy at that time. If i have someone to make it for me, I'm definitely choosing homemade healthy food.

Ingredients needed:
✅ Yam/Potato
✅ Vegetable Oil
✅Salt
Preparation |

🌹Peel the yam/potato and cut it into thin slices
🌹Add salt to the sliced yam and mix very well
🌹Heat up a pan and add the Vegetable Oil
🌹When the oil on the pan is hot, add the salted yams
🌹Once the yam is Dry and crisp, then it is ready
🌹Bring out the yam and put in a sieve for the oil to drain for about a minute.
🌹Your fries is ready, pair with any drink of your choice.

People say its not healthy to eat after 6pm but that doesn't apply to me. I eat whenever I'm hungry, doesn't matter the time.
I mostly get midnight craving when i wake up to work.
