As I stood before my students on Thursday morning, June 5th, I could sense a mix of emotions emanating from them. We were about to embark on our first test in Quantitative Reasoning, a crucial milestone as the second term exams drew closer. My students' faces reflected a blend of determination, nervousness, and focus.

Over the past few weeks, we had worked tirelessly to cover the curriculum, and I was confident that they were well-prepared. But, as their teacher, I knew that this test was more than just an assessment of their knowledge - it was an opportunity for them to demonstrate their understanding, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.

As I distributed the test work book, I felt a sense of pride and satisfaction. My students had grown significantly since the beginning of the term, and I was eager to see the results of their hard work.

The test commenced, and the room fell silent, punctuated only by the occasional scratch of a pen or the rustle of pages. I walked around the room, observing my students as they worked through the questions. Their faces were intent, their brows furrowed in concentration.

As I watched them, I was struck by their seriousness and dedication. They were determined to do their best, and it showed in their body language and work ethic. I felt a sense of pride knowing that my mentorship had played a role in shaping their attitude and approach to learning.

The test came to an end, and as the students submitted their work books, I felt a sense of accomplishment. Not only had they demonstrated their knowledge and skills, but they had also shown that they were capable of working independently, managing their time effectively, and staying focused under pressure.

As I collected the test papers, I knew that this was just the beginning. The results of this test would be recorded as part of their continuous assessment (CA), which would ultimately contribute to their cumulative GPA in the second-term examination.

But for now, I was proud of my students for their hard work, dedication, and excellent conduct during the test. They had made me proud, and I knew that they would continue to excel in the days ahead.
