"Photo of the Week Contest 11 | Sharing my best photo of the week"

Hello fellow Steemians!!
I'm hoping you had a lovely weekend.
It is another beautiful week and i have a good feeling about this week,maybe because we are in the holiday period. Finally I'll get some rest after the most stressful week. I'll love to share my best photo of the week.

The photo I'll be sharing today holds many memories. It tells the story of a girl trying to make her way in this world, harnessing every opportunity life throws at her.

One thing i have learnt as a corp member serving my country is that sometimes you may not serve in your area of expertise. But you must remember that you took a call to serve and serve you must in every capacity you can.

I have a background in education as my expertise but currently I'm not practicing in my field of expertise. I found myself doing media coverage. Taking beautiful pictures at my place of primary assignment.

Photography is the art, and practice of creating images either electronically or chemically. It often involves using a camera to capture a scene or subject, and it is used in many fields, including art, science, business, and communication.

I must say a special shout out to every photographer out there. Sincerely, i never knew photography was quite so tasking. It is not just about pressing the snap button.

It takes precision, talent, proper regulation of light intensity and one being able to position themselves, in many different angles to get the best pictures possible.

Sometimes you'll need to climb on a high elevation to capture from an elevated position, or even lay on the floor to get the angle you want.

Let me not talk of the back pain and leg pain that comes after hours of shooting while standing. To all the photographers out there i say well done.

There were times i felt like giving up because of the pain , but , God gave me the strength to endure and keep pushing because giving up is never an option.

The picture below is the picture i took of him while he was giving me a snapshot.

I have been blessed with the best team .
I had no idea on how to use the camera when i first started serving, but through the guidance of my boss, i have learnt to use this camera to capture many beautiful memories and pictures.

When i look at these picture i see a determine girl who has grown and harnesses every opportunity life throws at her.

It would be easy to slack back and give an excuse that i couldn't use the camera but i was determined to learn, to grow, to acquire skills.
I see every opportunity as a new skill to acquire and look where i am now.

Who could have thought i would some day be into photography!

Over time i have learnt to harness every opportunity life throws at me and never make excuses for not harnessing them. When i look at this photo and the ones i have taken on camera, i am so proud of what i have been able to achieve.

Indeed i have much to learn but i will get there some day. I would love to share some of the pictures i have taken someday, but until then. Thank you for reading.
