Father's day is a special occasion for our hardworking father, appreciating all the sacrifices they had done to all of us. Its a perfect time to express how grateful we are to them and respect how they playk their role as our father. Saying thank you to them is not enough to show how grateful we are to them but at least in our own simple way we were able to show thanks to them.

✨A LITTLE INFO ABOUT FATHER'S DAY✨

Father's Day celebration began in the United States in the early 20th century. It was inspired by Mother's Day and was promoted in Spokane, Washington in 1910. According to research, Sonora Smart Dodd who promoted the said celebration wanted to honor her father William Jackson Smart, a Civil War veteran and a single father who raised 6 children. In 1972, it slowly became so familiar and US President Richard Nixon signed it into law and declared that every third sunday of June is considered as National Holiday.

✨HOW DO WE CELEBRATE HOLIDAY✨

We can celebrate it even if we are just at home with no food at all. The thought that we will vocally say how grateful we were in our father count. But most of the people celebrate it at any restaurant. It is as well good because it strenghtens family bonds and create another great memories with the whole squad.

People from US, UK, Canada and India usually celebrate it with gifts, cards, and family gatherings.

People from Germany often had outings and other way of celebrating it.

People from Thailand, celebrated it on December 5, the birthday of the late King Bhumibol Adulyadej and was known as the Father of the Nation.

People from Australia and New Zealand celebrated the first sunday of September.

Pictures when we had our Fathers day celebration with my family is the best photo for me. Seeing papa so happy is the best thing I ever had. It is as well so good to have a bonding with them before going back to my stressful work.

That is all for now. Thank you for reading everyone and have a great day.

Inviting my friends @bisayakalog, @bisdako and @jes88 to share their entries here.

Are those real fishes? What are they called?

Your post is quite enlightening. Just got to know about how the day originated and how it is celebrated in different cultures. Happy Father's Day to your Papa!
