Hi Steemit

The Power of And Why Not?

Growing up, I was always told I couldn't be a writer. It's tough to make a living," people said. " You're not good enough," But I loved storytelling, and I couldn't shake the feeling that i was meant to do this. One day, I decided to take a chance. I started writing online, sharing my stories and experiences with anyone who would read them. And you know what? People responded! They liked my work, and it gave me the courage to keep going.

As someone who's still learning and exploring the steemit community, I understand the power of taking that first step. Why not try? Why not share my voice? Why not see where this journey takes me? For me, embracing" why not " means pursuing my passion for writing, even when faced with doubts and fears.

I remember the countless nights I'd spend scribbling in my journal, pouring my heart out into the pages. It was my escape, my sanctuary. And when I shared my work with others, I felt seen, heard, and validated. Of course, there were times when doubts crept in. When people asked me how I'd make a living as a writer, I'd wonder if they were right. But every time I sat down to write, the words flowed effortlessly, and I knew that this was what I was meant to do.

The thing is, even though writing doesn't always pay the bills, the joy I get from it is priceless.. When I'm putting together, I feel alive. I feel like I'm tapping into something deeper within myself, something that's hard to explain but feels incredibly real.

People often ask me how I manage to keep going, despite the uncertainty. And my answer is simple: why not? Why not take the chance? Why not see where my passion takes me? For me, the joy of writing is worth the risk.

I've learned to embrace the uncertainty, to learn into the unknown. And when doubts creep in, I remind myself of why I started writing in the first place. It's not just about the end result, it's about the process. It's about the joy of creating, the thrill of bringing new ideas to life.

As I look at my writing journey, I realize that it's been a winding road. There have been ups and downs, twists and turns. But through it all, I've learned to trust myself, to trust the process.. and when people ask me if I'm afraid of failure I say, " Why not?" Why not take the chance and see what happens?

For me, writing is about more than just putting words on paper. It's about self expression, about connection, about community. It's about tapping into something deeper within myself and sharing that with others.

And that's what I love about steemit. It's a community that encourage creativity, support growth, and fosters connection. It's a place where I can share my work, get feedback, and learn from others.

One particular experience that stands out to me was when I lost my phone, which my dad had bought for me. It was a valuable item, and I think that's why he was really upset when he heard what happened. Someone had snatched the phone from me while I was heading to night class. The next morning, I called my parents, and my dad was devastated. Unlike times when he'd encourage me to find solutions, this time he was visibly down. He didn't even answer me.

I decided to take matters into my own hands. I went to the place where I bought the phone and started investigating. On my way going back home, I saw the guy that collected me my phone and with the help of the bus driver and agbero the caught him, and he eventually confessed to the crime.

I called my dad through the driver who had helped me, and he was relieved to hear that I had successfully recovered the phone. By the time my y dad arrived, I was already done with the tasks and heading back home. It was around 7 am, and I was proud of myself for taking initiative and solving the problem on my own.

However, when I got home, everyone was buzzing with questions_ my aunty, landlord and even my dad were worried and curious. They asked why I went alone, why I didn't wait for them, and so on. But for me, it was a matter of taking charge and finding a solution. It was a valuable lesson in self reliance and determination.

This experience showcases the power of " why not?" Why not take the chance, why not trust myself, and why not see where my abilities take me? It's about embracing uncertainty and finding solutions, even when it's uncomfortable or challenging.
So, what's holding you back? What's your " Why not moment? Share your story, and let's inspire each other to take that leap of faith! Let's show the world that we can do more than we can do more than we think, that we can achieve greatness when we take the chance.

The power of " Why not" is a mindset shift that can change everything. When we focus on the possibilities instead of the obstacles, we open ourselves up to new experiences and opportunities. We discover new passions, new talents, and new strengths. We learn to trust ourselves, to trust the process , and to trust that everything will work out for the best.

So, let's take that chance. Let's pursue our passions, our dreams, and our desires. Let's show the world what we're capable of, and let's inspire others to do the same. The power of " Why not" is waiting for us.
