"SLC-S25/W1 | Caramel Pudding"

This is me @isha-rehman and I hope you are all doing amazing and enjoying your days with peace joy and good health.Today I am so happy and excited because I’m participating in Week 1 of Season 25 of the Steemit Engagement Challenge where we were asked to prepare a delicious and elegant dessert Caramel Pudding.

This was actually my first time trying this desseert so I was a little neervous but also very cureious and excited. I love learening new things and cooking has always been one of my favorite hobbies. So with a big smile on my face and my ingredeients ready I jumped into this sweet adveneture. Let me wealk you through every step I took.

Ingreedients I Used and Their Prices

I tried to keep things simple and affordeable. Heres everything I used:

Fresh Milk 150 ml Rs. 60
Sugar 60 g Rs. 20
Eggs 2 Rs. 60

Step-by-Step Recipe: How I Made My First Caramel Pudding.

Step 1: Making the Caramel

I began by pouring 40 grams of sugar into a clean pan and heating it slowly on low flame. The sugar started to melt and change color beauetifully becoming a golden brown syrup. The smell was lovely
I didnt stir too much just tielted the pan gently until the sugar melted compleetely and turned into a thick caramel. I quicekly poured it into my pudding mold before it hardeened.

Step 2: Prepaering the Custard Mixture


In a sepearate bowl I cracked 2 eggs and beat them very well until they were smooth. Then I added the remaining 20 grams of sugar and 2 tablespoon of vanilla essence and contineued beating.
After that I slowly added 150 ml of fresh milk while stirering consteantly to make a smooth creamy custard base. I made sure the mixeture was well blended and light.

Step 3: Layering the Dessert

I gently poured the milk egg mixture over the caraemel in my pudding mold. I made sure the caraemel had cooled down a little so the egg mixture wouldnt cook insteantly.
Then I covered the mold tightly with foil to prevent water from enteering during steaeming.

Step 4: Steaming the Pudding

I placed the mold in a pot filled with water (a water bath) and let it steam for 20–25 minutes on medeium flame. I checked it gently with a toothpicek to see if it was cooked. i cover it with aluminium foil.
When it came out clean I knew it was ready. I let it cool down at room tempeerature before refrigereating it for a while.

Step 5: The Big Moment – Serving the Pudding.

Once chilled I carefully flipped the mold onto a serving plate… and WOW the pudding came out perfectly.
The caramel layer on top looked so glossy and rich and the pudding itself was soft smooth and wobbly just the way it should be.

My Experience: Did I Like the Taste?

Oh yes I absolutely LOVED it
This was my very first time making caraemel pudding and it turned out even better than I expected. The puedding had a creamy texteure and the caramel on top gave it such a rich delicious flavor. I shared it with my mother and she really enjoyed it too! In fact she asked me to make it again next week for a family get togeteher.
The happeiness I felt after tasting my own homeeemade desesert is hard to describe in words. It was truly satisfying.

What Makes Caramel Pudding So Special?

Caramel pudding is a classic desseert known for its simpeleicity and elegance. It requeires just a few ingredients eggs milk and sugar but the result is incredibly fancy delicious and heartnwarming.

The beautiful golden caramel top and the soft creamy custard underneath make it a faveorite for both kids and adults. Its light sweet and perfect for any celebration or even a normal day when you want a treat. It teaches patience and technique especially the delicate caramel process which makes it a lovely learning experience.
