Hello Everyone !

Once upon a time in Lahore, there lived a simple and honest man named Adeel. He worked as a clerk in a bank and lived a peaceful life with his beautiful wife Sana and their little son, Zayaan. Adeel loved Sana deeply. He fulfilled all her wishes with whatever little he earned. From buying her favorite food to small gold earrings on Eid, he always tried to bring a smile to her face.

But Sana’s heart slowly changed. She had always dreamed of a luxurious life big house, designer clothes, foreign trips. When she got a job in a private company, she felt excited. For the first time, she had financial freedom. The company owner, Mr. Sheheryar, was young, rich, and well dressed. He soon noticed Sana’s beauty and confidence.

Sana also started dressing up every day more makeup, expensive perfumes, high heels. Mr. Sheheryar praised her, gave her attention, and slowly started spending more time around her. Sana felt special. She used to return home late from office, ignoring Adeel and giving excuses like “there was a meeting” or “I was working overtime.” She even began comparing Adeel to Mr. Sheheryar in her heart.

Adeel noticed everything. He once told Sana politely to keep a distance from Mr. Sheheryar. But she got angry. “He’s my boss, and he respects me! He even promoted me! Why don’t you trust me?” she said.

One day, Sana told Adeel she had to work late due to an office meeting. But the truth was, she had planned a trip to Islamabad with Mr. Sheheryar for a so called "business meeting." Adeel felt something was wrong. He called her, but her phone was off. He called the company, but they told him the owner and Sana had gone for a meeting out of the city.

Adeel’s heart sank. The next morning, when he checked the airport schedule, he found their flight was delayed due to rain. With a heavy heart, he rushed to the airport and what he saw crushed him. Sana was walking out of the airport with Mr. Sheheryar, smiling and talking like nothing was wrong.

Adeel didn’t fight. He quietly walked away. That day, he didn’t say a word to her. But inside, his heart had shattered. He had loved her with every breath, but now his soul was tired.

A few days later, Mr. Sheheryar visited Adeel’s home. With arrogance in his voice, he said, “I want to marry Sana. I’ll give you one crore rupees. Just leave her.”

Adeel looked at him, then at Sana. She stood silently beside Mr. Sheheryar. Her eyes were down not with guilt, but with the shame of getting caught.

Adeel spoke only one sentence: “I won’t take a single rupee. If she’s happy with you, take her. I release her with respect.”

That day, Adeel packed his son Zayaan’s school bag, held his small hand, and left the house forever.

Sana married Mr. Sheheryar, but she never found the peace she had once ignored. Adeel, though broken, lived with dignity and raised his son with love...

1. Do you think giving everything is a mistake, or when it's reciprocated, it's nice to give everything?

Sometimes we should show love, care, and affection to others but most of the time, people don’t value our feelings. If the other person truly respects and values us, puts in equal effort, and cares about us just like we care for them, then it's worth giving our whole heart. Such relationships deserve full commitment and love.

But often we see that the more love and care we give, the more people take us for granted. They start ignoring us, using us for their own benefit, and stop appreciating our presence. In such situations, no matter how much we love them, it only hurts us more. It becomes clear that they are with us not out of love, but for their own selfish reasons.

In such cases, it’s better to step back. If we are giving everything but receiving nothing in return no respect, no value, no love then it’s wiser to let go of that relationship and protect our self respect and peace.

2. Do you think giving everything allows people to take advantage of hurting the other person's feelings?

Yes, unfortunately, when you give too much without receiving respect, some people use your love and turn it into a weakness. This allows them to hurt you without guilt.

Reflection:

This story of Adeel and Sana reminds us that true love needs honesty, not just comfort and luxury. Danish gave everything.. loyalty, patience, love and got betrayal in return. We must never forget our self respect in any relationship. Love is a two way path if one keeps walking alone, they’ll only get tired, not reach happiness.

Phrase that applies to this story:

“Don’t lose yourself while loving someone else who doesn’t value you.”
