Steemit Challenge S24W5 | Powerful Debate/ Thoughts and reflections

It's an honor to be here. We're now in the 5th week of Season 24 of the Steemit Challenge. I'd like to thank the Steemit team for the opportunity to experience this with my teammates for the first time. It's been a journey full of learning. This week, we once again invite you to debate with us.

Debating is always a window that allows us to express our perspective on a topic. For this Week 5.

Thoughts and reflections

Topic 1: Should you give your all when the other person isn't willing to do anything for you?

Once upon a time, Amanda is a young entrepreneur, at a young age love came into her life, so much so that young Andrew proposed to her and she happily accepted the proposal, with the passage of time everything changed a routine of forgiving his constant infidelities to such an extent that with each forgiveness the love that Amanda felt for him was already dying, She became so cold that everything she felt for him after so many disappointments led to her ending her marriage and there he wanted to recover what could no longer be recovered. To such an extent that the day of the divorce came and Amanda fought to rebuild her image, her value and identity as a woman who for a long time had stopped living to please Andrew's tastes.

Questions:

Do you think giving everything is a mistake, or on the contrary, when it's reciprocated, it's nice to give everything. Justify your answer.?

Do you think giving everything allows people to take advantage of hurting the other person's feelings?

Topic 2: Do you think being used by others allows you to mature in character and learn?

Antonio is a young former military officer, he wanted to travel to another country because the job offers in his country were very difficult, but he did not have the financial resources to leave the country, one day he met the young Isabel and well this young woman was financially stable so he noticed that and began to fall in love with her to such an extent that Isabel let herself be wooed, several outings and he asked her to help him financially to leave the country in search of economic stability for both of them once she supported him he left the country, when he was already in the other country everything changed radically to such an extent that he blocked her to cut off communication with her, she felt cheated and used to such an extent that she closed herself off to matters of love.

Questions:

¿Should we experience life in order to mature our character?

¿How can we tell when someone is just trying to take advantage of our good heart?

Task:

1. Share a true story of your own or a close one about a similar situation.

2. Share a reflection of your own or a close one about a situation where you see someone taking advantage of you without compassion to achieve their personal goals.

3. Answer both questions based on your own perspective and experience on the subject.

4. What advice would you give to someone currently experiencing this situation?
