And why not we believe that we are truly irreplaceable and ignore those superficial impositions?

This is a world that focuses on superficiality and shallow judgments but don’t let the noise of those who only care about surface-level appearances bring you down.

Superficiality

there will always
be superficial people
that only cared
about what’s
on the surface

pretty little
vivacious faces
provocative images

common sense
is never
a prerequisite
for those people

and there
will always
be prettier
and younger
replacement

ignore them
don’t ever
let their nonsense
bring you down

there will also
be genuine people
that love you
as a person of
substance
and love
your work

people who actually
read into your words

this’s where
your thought
and opinion
matters

people who
lift you to
a higher level

supporting
your arts
because
you are
irreplaceable

you are
work of art
yourself

Let’s Them Twist

bounce back
astonish
yourself
and whoever
failed you
with what
you are
capable of

let them have a twist
in their underwear
it’s their lost
not yours

So Long You Are Still Breathing

for as long
as you are
still breathing
nothing is
too f-cked up
for you

Nothing is ever too messed up for you to overcome, so long as you are still alive.

The world needs your unique voice, your perspective, and your stories.
