The Diary Game: Going To The Market With My Son And Also Cooking (30-07-2025)

Hello my friends, good day to you, no matter the time you are seeing this, just know that another steemian out here loves you and is rooting for you, let me take this time to share my diary with you my friends.

In Akwa Ibom here, Wednesday morning was very cold but I had family to take care of and also cook for, so that reason, I took my son and we went to the market and when we came back to the house after shopping for our foodstuffs, we took beautiful pictures together, I did not even know when I dropped the items I bought and started a selfie session with my friend.

When we finished our selfie session, I began to wash the pot I will be using to cook, my boy was already helping me out with some of the things in the kitchen, so the irony of it is that instead of this boy to help me, he was busy scattering the things I was trying to put together, so I put cartoon in my phone for him to watch and allow me rest and concentrate in the kitchen.

After I washed the pot, I took some of the dirty plates and washed out also with arranging and mopping the kitchen because I did not like the way the kitchen looked unkempt. One of the things my mom used to teach me is that food should not be cooked or prepared in a dirty environment and I have kept that to myself till date, no matter how hungry I am, I can't force myself to cook in a dirty place not to even talk of my own kitchen.

When I went inside, I noticed my son was sweating even when the fan was on, so I took him to the shower and bathed him before I gave him back the phone. Then I went to the kitchen to chop water leaf, the soup I wanted to cook was bitter leaf soup with melon and water leaf, it is my favorite, though my siblings like afang, but I prefer bitter leaf.

After I finished cooking, I ate and also gave my son to eat and after we finished eating, I washed my clothes and went to the bed to rest. I was able to rest in the afternoon but when the cold weather came again, I woke up to meet my son playing with my phone, I had to take it from him and played with him.

In the evening time, I was finished with the arrangements, I arranged everywhere and kept the house neat and tidied. Then I went and sat and rested. I waited for hubby to come back so that we can eat dinner together and when he came back, I dished the food and we ate together before he wrote his diary game and I did also.

After I wrote my diary game, I had to go and attend our steemit class in the steemit group on how to participate in contests and very soon I will start doing contest when I am done with the class. Thank you for being around friends.
