The Diary Game: A Monday In My Workplace And Taking My Son Back From School (14-07-2025)

For the very first time since I joined steemit I have not shared my day and that was so bad, the local authorities made a public notice that there will be power outage so my phones was down.

Today, after unplugging my phone from where I paid for it to be charged, I login to vote for people as I was told by my mentor @megareigns. Then when it was 9am I bathed and went to work, my son went to visit my sister and she took him to his school from her house so the weekend was between me and my husband.

The work was hectic, that is how it has always been, Monday work can be very tiring and without any single doubt I would say that Mondays aren't as sweet as what others have been painting it to be.

I struggled through the work and when my shift collapsed by 2pm, I went back to the house, I was rightfully informed that my son will stay back and attend extra lectures at school so I was to go back and pick him by 4pm so I went home direct so that I can prepare something for him to eat when he is back. So here I was while coming back from work.

By 4pm, I went to go and get my son, when I went, he was just sad, I know he was hungry, he actually stayed past the normal time he is supposed to stay so I carried him on my back to the house. When we got to one store, I bought him biscuit and his mood brightened up, see how happy he was and he was even smiling.

When we came back to the house, I took the hot bread I bought and fried eggs for him to eat and drink it with tea because he told me he won't eat soup, that's just one thing that comes with raising these little ones, they could decide to change mind anytime, so much uncertainties for mothers.

After he finishes eating, I bathed him and washed his clothes, then I made him to sleep because when he wakes up he will be doing his assignment. He has so much homework to do because there will be no school for the rest of the week, it has been declared public holiday in honour of the Ex-President's departure.

In the evening time when he woke up, I brushed his mouth and gave him soup, he ate it very fine and I made him take his evening bath and I went outside and removed the clothes I hanged outside and then took them inside and arranged the room so that hubby will not come back and meet our un-arranged room.

When hubby came back, I gave him his food and then I went to bed. I was so tired, I was trying to save my battery so that I can use and write on steemit but thank God hubby paid and charged it for me and I went to unplug it this night, I couldn't let today pass again so I decided to tell you about Monday that came with nothing but blessings.
