Benvenuti a questo nuovo capitolo dedicato alle mie piccole tartarughe di terra (hermanni).
Faccio una premessa prima di iniziare, poiché sono animali protetti bisogna avere una certificazione per poterle accudire. Detto questo partiamo col dire che si chiamano bruski e broski, (non chiedetemi perché 😂), hanno entrambi 7 anni (almeno credo) ma possono arrivare entrambe a un'età di 25/40 anni e a una grandezza di 30cm. La loro dieta è fatta prevalentemente di insalata,ortaggi (pomodori ecc) ma anche fiori e insetti (formiche, vermi ecc) e volendo è possibile comprare anche del mangime apposta prodotto dall'uomo.
Inizialmente quando erano piccole le tenevo dentro una grossa gabbia fatta per le cavie peruviane, adattata alle loro esigenze. Avevo piantato delle insalate ma con scarsi risultati in quanto le hanno mangiate tutte subito senza dargli il tempo di crescere😅 (errore mio poiché è meglio farle crescere lontano dalle piantine per poi dargli la loro porzione giornaliera).
Chiaramente come molti sapranno le tartarughe di terra, durante l'inverno, vanno in letargo circa nel periodo tra settembre e inizio aprile ma dipende dal tempo e dalla temperatura, a volte vanno in letargo a fine ottobre.
Dopo qualche anno essendo diventate abbastanza grandi ho pensato di spostarle nella zona dove avevo tagliato il famoso albero spezzato adattando il tutto per le mie piccoline.
Ho tolto delle piastre di cemento per poi scavare un grosso buco per farci la loro tana.
Devo dire che i risultati sono stati ottimi e loro ci stanno benissimo ma, ⚠️attenzione⚠️, un giorno non troppo lontano dovrò dividerle perché le tartarughe hanno una triste particolarità, che è quella di fare sempre sesso con gli esemplari della loro specie😉.. sembra una cosa divertente ma non lo è poiché se mettiamo un maschio con una sola femmina potrebbe addirittura ucciderla dalla troppa "attività sessuale" pertanto è bene tenere 3 femmine per un maschio.
Detto questo apro anche una parentesi sulla mia recente allocazione di Lion su crypto.com che sta dando i suoi primi frutti.
Questa è solo una prima allocazione di "prova", ne ho fatta un altra più grande ma non voglio rendere pubbliche le mie entrate pertanto mi limiterò a mettere le entrate di questa allocazione più misera.

Welcome to this new chapter dedicated to my small earth turtles (Hermanni).
I make a premise before starting, since they are protected animals you have to have a certification to be able to look after them.
Having said that we start by saying that they are called Bruski and Broski, (do not ask me why 😂), they are both 7 years old (at least I think) but both can arrive at an age of 25/40 years and at a greatness of 30cm.
Their diet is mainly made of salad, vegetables (tomatoes etc.) but also flowers and insects (ants, worms etc.) and if you want to buy feed also affixed by man.
Initially when they were small I kept them in a large cage made for Peruvian guinea pigs, adapted to their needs.
I had planted salads but with poor results as they all eaten them immediately without giving them time to grow😅 (my mistake since it is better to make them grow away from the seedlings and then give them their daily portion).
Clearly, as many will know the earth turtles, during the winter, hibernate about in the period between September and the beginning of April but depends on time and temperature, sometimes they hibernate in late October.
After a few years, having become large enough, I thought of moving them to the area where I had cut the famous broken tree adapting everything for my little ones.
I removed some concrete plates and then dig a large hole to make them their den.
I must say that the results have been excellent and they are very good but, ⚠️ Attact⚠️, one day not too far I will have to divide them because the turtles have a sad peculiarity, which is to always have sex with the specimens of their species and .. it seems a fun thing but it is not since we put a male with a single female could even kill it from too much "sexual activity" therefore it is good to keep 3 females for a male.
Having said that I also open a parenthesis on my recent lion allocation on Crypto.com which is taking its first fruits.
This is only a first allocation of "test", I made another bigger but I don't want to make my entries public therefore I will just put the revenue of this more miserable allocation.

è un animale molto quieto che peró da gestire è abbastanza delicato , sembra carino il loro rifugio per il loro letargo invrnale con i vasi in terra cotta che rilasciano il calore gradualmente

In realtà i vasi e i pesi sono per non farle uscire perché vogliono sempre scappare😂, sono animali solitari, per dirti una è scappata in letargo sotto la siepe di alloro, non la trovavo più poi 10 giorni fa è spuntata fuori😅, sono belle danno anche soddisfazione perché le vedi crescere insomma dai se le tieni bene sono belle poi ti ci affezioni..
