Hello to the Steemit Team and all the friends of this wonderful platform.
I'm excited to submit my candidacy for the role of Steem Representative 2025, with the goal of continuing the journey I began as a Steem Rep in 2024.
Today, decentralized platforms are finally gaining ground online, offering a real alternative to traditional social media: more freedom of expression, more participation, and more control for users.
Steemit, as the pioneer of blockchain-based blogging, continues to be a unique space for experimentation and growth. That’s why I continue to believe in its potential and its future.
Being a Steem Rep is not just an acknowledgment, but a real responsibility toward those who believe in this platform and engage with it every day.
It’s the reason why I’m committed to supporting and uplifting users, especially newcomers or those less visible, both within the Italian community and beyond, because I truly believe that a vibrant and inclusive community is Steemit’s greatest strength.

TECHNICAL DETAILS.
I have a reputation of 79.23.
I have over 77K SP owned and have never done Power Down since I have been on Steemit.
I am part of the @italygame team, which is Witnesses at 13th place in the Witnesses ranking.
I take care of the Italian Community called Italy, which supports Italians on Steemit and users of any nationality who help make our Community a friendly and mutually supportive place.
For 204 weeks I have been participating in #welovepowerups, continuing to invest in Steemit because I believe in its potential while trying to be an example to my Community.
In addition to following the Steem-fanbase trail for automatic vote distribution, I also run a manual curation by upvoting posts and comments that I think deserve attention.
Since 2024 I have been applying and working in the Steemit curation teams, to help distribute votes to deserving users.
MY ACTIVITIES ON STEEMIT.
I try to be as present and active as possible on Steemit, through publishing 6/7 posts per week: my personal posts, as well as report related to my activities as Steem Rep, my Power Up post to sponsor the Power Up and update my Community.
I manage 3 of the 7 contests organised in the Italian Community, in addition to distributing the Booming votes and publishing the post with the list of distributed votes.
Being part of the @italygame team and together with my colleagues, I am involved in several projects, the latest one I am very fond of is the Steem-Retrogames platform, games on the Steem Blockchain with the aim of attracting new users to the Steemit platform.
In addition to actively contributing in the development and improvement of the games with my team, I usually do promotion by creating images and gifs to share on social networks outside of Steemit.
I also moderate the Italian community by interacting with all users, welcoming new ones by helping them fit into the group, answering questions about how Steemit works, and giving support when problems arise.
WHY I CAN BE A GOOD STEEM REP.
In real life, I’m Michela, but in the virtual world of Steemit, everyone knows me as Mikitaly.
I’ve been on this platform since 2017 and have had the privilege of witnessing all its transformations. Today, I can confidently say that Steemit is stronger and more organized than ever. I’m excited to continue contributing actively to its growth and ongoing improvement through my work as a Steem Rep.
I enjoy being available for all those users who are still new to Steemit and need some guidance along the way, trying to make their experience on the platform as simple and engaging as possible.
Over the past year, I’ve come to understand that the role of Steem Rep carries great responsibility. It’s not just about being a point of reference, but also about being a positive example for all users, both new and experienced, so that they can continue to grow within this community. And I truly hope to be that example.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for the trust and opportunities given to me so far, and I’m keeping my fingers crossed for this new selection.
