Giant Spider And Its Web

Some days ago when I went to one of my friend's area, I found a giant spiders there. There were others but this was the one I concentrated more. They invaded a nearby compound making cobwebs all over there. They were far from human reach and their webs were stiff.

Can you see those cobwebs in the first photos? I was only able to see one in the first photo because of the distance. I has to zoom my camera to get a closer shot. There was also a smaller spider which can be seen in the second photo. I guess it was learning from the bigger guy.

Their webs are one of their strong weapons. They use it to trap smaller animals like insects. As the insect struggles for freedom, they move in quickly and get hold of it. Or the just let it stay there after some times and die there before capturing it.
