Nothing, in any case I hadn't been contacted, all that remained was my burning and scorching disappointment, but in life you know, sometimes, but only sometimes, a door closes and a door opens wide, and in this specific case, I must say that the door has dissolved, under other words that, by pure chance, I spent, very well, with another person...

I let off steam with him, I've known him for a long time, he's not one of those people with whom I have a high level of confidence, but he's not a stranger either, in the past I've had good exchanges of views with him, but nothing more, I still don't know exactly what the reasons were but a word came out, more or less in reference to what had happened to me, you know, one word leads to another, in the end I practically told him everything, with a surprising final result...

He kind of activated his brain, he felt involved, he wanted to do something, he called a friend of his, he remembered that they needed a figure like me, and he wasn't wrong at all, a few words, a very quick appointment today, a look at a staircase, in a building, which will remain uncovered from next month, I made an estimate, it will probably pass, so I will buy another staircase to clean, to say that I'm happy is an understatement, we use another saying, don't count your chickens, but I think that, maybe, maybe, this time things will go very differently, the prospect Being able to include another ladder in your weekly routine is a really great thing...

E siamo arrivati, tristemente per forza di cose, alla giornata odierna, anche se ero praticamente certo che le cose sarebbero andate a finire in questa maniera, che nessuno si sarebbe più fatto vivo con me, che qualcosa era andato storto, non so bene cosa perché non ho avuto la minima possibilità di replica, ieri sono andato a pulire le scale della madre della persona che mi ha contattato, ho accennato qualcosa, si vedeva che sapeva, che era a conoscenza di questi fatti ma che, per un motivo a me sconosciuto, non poteva o non voleva parlare, cosa avrebbe cambiato conoscere la verità? Nulla, in ogni caso non ero stato contattato, rimaneva unicamente la mia cocente e rovente delusione, ma nella vita si sa, a volte, ma solamente a volte, si chiude una porta e si spalanca un portone, e in questo specifico caso, il portone devo proprio dire che si è dissolto, sotto altre parole che, per puro caso, ho speso, molto bene, con un'altra persona...
