It was supposed to be, in my head, tomorrow night's episode, 3 days have passed, and if I don't force myself to finally write the end of this short story, even this evening was in danger of going by blank, the funny thing is that I was convinced I had sent something yesterday evening, never mind, it's a period in which I'm particularly cooked, so here I am, talking about my iron drill bits, or rather, what's left of them...

Here they are, all nice and cooked, my tips, I was quite convinced that I could get through there, that I would make those 4 damned holes that I needed to anchor the two brackets to the main bar, instead it was a disaster, a mess, one after the other they started to give way, to crumble, my little tricks to try to make them last at least until the end of the 4 holes were almost useless, I have to say that in the end I made it, but to say that it was hard is almost reductive, given and considering what actually happened, for example, to this tip here...

It was the last survivor, the one who finally managed, for better or for worse, to scratch the bar to get the 4th and last hole out, even though the disk of my flexible bit came to its aid, which had further planed the perforated surface, facilitating the final passage of the tip, even though I must say that it too ended up in the bin, as it was no longer usable, moral of the story, I did it, to finish my job, it was a victory, that's the end of the discussion, but I paid quite dearly for this satisfaction, because now I will have to redo my entire small set of iron tips, even if, honestly speaking, I will make a small extra investment, buying better ones, considering the ones I already had to be of a good standard, I was totally wrong, the bar in question was a severe test for them, and they achieved a narrow pass, finishing the job but also their existence...

Doveva essere, nella mia testa, la puntata di domani sera, sono passati ben 3 giorni, e se non mi impongo di scrivere finalmente la fine di questa breve storia, anche questa sera rischiava di passare in bianco, il bello è che ero convinto di aver inviato un qualcosa ieri sera, pazienza, è un periodo in cui sono particolarmente cotto, per cui eccomi qua, a parlare delle mie punte da trapano da ferro, o meglio, di quello che ne rimane...

Eccole qua, tutte belle cotte, le mie punte, ero abbastanza convinto di riuscire a passare di là, che avrei fatto quei 4 fori maledetti che mi servivano per ancorare le due staffe alla barra principale, invece è stato un disastro, un macello, una dopo l'altra hanno iniziato a cedere, a sgretolarsi, a quasi nulla sono serviti i miei piccoli stratagemmi per cercare di farle durare almeno fino alla fine dei 4 fori, devo dire che alla resa dei conti ce l'ho fatta, ma affermare che è stata dura è quasi riduttivo, visto e considerato quello che è realmente accaduto, ad esempio, a questa punta qua...

E' stata l'ultima superstite, quella che alla fine è riuscita, nel bene e nel male, a scalfire la barra per far uscire il 4° e ultimo foro, anche se è intervenuta in suo soccorso il disco del mio flessibile, che era ulteriormente piallato la superficie forata, agevolando il definitivo passaggio della punta, anche se pure lei devo dire che è finita nel bidone, in quanto non più utilizzabile, morale della favola, ce l'ho fatta, a ultimare il mio lavoro, è stata una vittoria, questo è fine discussione, ma l'ho pagata abbastanza cara, questa soddisfazione, perché adesso mi dovrò rifare tutto il mio piccolo corredo di punte da ferro, anche se, onestamente parlando, farò un piccolo investimento extra, acquistandone di migliori, ritenendo già queste in mia dotazione di buon livello, sbagliavo clamorosamente, la barra in questione è stato un severo banco di prova per loro, e hanno raggiunto una risicata sufficienza, finendo il lavoro ma anche la loro esistenza...
