ASSALAMUALAIKUM

Footsteps through time when the sun comes out of its love bed, the morning breeze continues to blow greeting the cold on this morning's journey. The roar of the motorbike breaks the silence of nature, I walk along the winding road to reach my destination.

The hustle and bustle of the crowd began to be heard in my ears, when I had entered the city road. Many vehicles were passing by, people began to do their activities, heading to their respective destinations.

I am in the exam room

Time keeps running so that I arrive at the destination school. I head to the computer room to see the process of the college entrance tryout exam for all students where I teach, even this tryout exam is followed by all schools in Aceh, Indonesia. Today is the 3rd exam day, which gets session 1, namely schools in Bireun Regency and North Aceh Regency.

Students take a try out exam

All students registered in grade XII must take this exam, using their respective android and iphone mobile phones. Each student is also required to download the exam application on the playstore and appstore. In accordance with the direction of the Education Office, I also instruct all students to do so and follow the rules before taking this exam. All student mobile devices must turn off any notifications, so that this exam application does not exit automatically.

The exam went smoothly as expected. I prepared a report on the try out that took place today, such as the attendance list of try out participants, minutes of the meeting and facts about the integrity of the exam supervisor. I also sent all these reports to the relevant agency, namely the Aceh Education Agency.

When the clock showed 14:00, I and all the teachers present along with all the students began to leave the school to return to their respective homes.

Night has now come, nature has become dark, the lights in every house have begun to illuminate the darkness. I headed to the prayer place to perform the Maghrib prayer.

Preparations at the groom's place

After Maghrib prayer, I went to my neighbor's house to help with the preparation for the proposal of the bride for his son. This preparation involves preparing gifts from the groom's side that will be brought to the bride's side. This event is only to see the bride or the engagement event.

Young people and villagers began to arrive to help with the preparations, prioritizing a sense of mutual cooperation and helping each other. Every guest who came here would help with whatever they could.

The dowry is ready to be wrapped

All the dowry items that are ready to be wrapped will be put into a place that has been provided, the name of this place is often called in the Acehnese language, namely Peurakan . Various dowry items are put into this place, such as Sugar, Coffee, Bread, Canned Milk, Bottled Drinks, Bananas, betel leaves and so on.

This is what is called tradition, by bringing many gifts from the groom's side, all of this is said with the name Ranup Sigapu.
