Introducing myself

I am always up for something new and Steemit looks very interesting,
especially if I stand a chance of making some extra money. :-)

My name is Bob Allen. I am 66 years old, retired from the corporate world two
years ago and I am trying to make a living for myself online. I was born in
the UK (I'm an Essex boy but don't let that put you off.) I emigrated to
Australia in 1980 with my wife and one year old son and absolutely loved living
in Australia.

I quit my job with a large computer manufacturer to go to live in Thailand for
a while. That turned into more than seven years, two businesses, a Thai Wife,
Teaching English and generally having lots of fun and loosing lots of money
in the process. Ah well, what can I say.

I went back to the UK to catch up with family in 2008 and ended up staying
two years and working as a truck driver. Then back to Aus in 2010, again
working as a truck driver and furniture removalist for a couple of years
which damn near killed me but on the plus side I did get very fit and I did
loose a lot of weight.

I then became a driving instructor for two years until I reached retirement
age which I enjoyed very much but I found it very stressful and decided to
head over to the Philippines where I am now. My Aussie pension allows me
to live quite well here and to support a girlfriend and new baby (I never
expected to have any more children but she is absolutely gorgeous).

I have spent the past two years trying to make money online and making a
little here and there but not enough yet to cancel my pension and live the
high life I deserve. I have definitely learned a lot in that time and I feel
I am just about ready to break into the big time. :-)
